Loss of Interest in BM?

Twitter? Fine, I don’t see the need anymore. But I don’t get taking down the Youtube link. It has the trailer, a bunch of development videos, and is very informative. Taking it down would frustrate more people than it would help.

Wait, is their Youtube channel updated even when the twitter feed isn’t?

The twitter feed needs to be removed from the front page.

I can feel the ban hammer hovering over me. :fffuuu::jizz::zip:

The twitter feed is not visited. The Youtube DOES get stuff once in a while tho.

hows that game you guys are making going? heard its looking pretty good!

uhh… somebody tell ram to update the twitter with some kind of worded update. Its been 121 days and i started to get impatient after a month.
(but its probably easier to reply to this with some really long post)

I would rather see a 3 word twitter update then devs posting on this thread saying that.

Epic, Ram, pure epic! This is why you get paid the big bucks isn’t it

oh… wait, you… don’t get paid the big bucks…?

oh. :frowning:

  1. We’re
  2. Not
  3. Ded

:retard:

  1. We’re
  2. Not
  3. HURRRGGGHGHHhhhh…

Why people value less-than-not-enough-character “updates” to real words put into proper sentences will forever elude me.

Actually, I lied. It certainly makes perfect sense that SOME* lazy bums would rather not have to read more than 14 letters or whatever it is.

*Not calling all twits lazy bums.

So guise wen is teh mod cumming oot?

Learn to troll.

That’s in Redmond, which is like an hour-and-a-half from Bellevue. (valve =! Seattle, cough cough).

Incidentally, that’s where they picked up Larry “the count” Heard.

Now how is it that these people are able to put up a 2009 deadline in 2008, but then come december 2009 discover they’re not making it.
That means that they say, begin november, thought they could make it in 2009, otherwise they would have announced the delay earlier right?
I mean they also say they’ve come ‘very close’, if it’s 12 december and you’re very close to releasing it within 2009, how come it’s almost June 2010 and the mod still isn’t ready?
Is it really that hard to estimate a release for a mod? Because the devs are really having a hard time doing it.
There aren’t even any official updates anymore, it’s been over 120 days since the last twitter/youtube update.
Usually when a game (or a mod) nears completion there’s a real influx of information and revelations about the game. How come Black Mesa is giving this the silent treatment?

I’m really wondering if there ever was a chance that the game could have been released in 2009, since we’re almost halfway in 2010 and Black Mesa still is just a little dot on the horizon that’s not getting any bigger.

nice job taking time to write a long post that’s been posted a bazillion times so far this year. I bet you feel real important.

whats this thing called black mesa that everyone is talking about?

People are going to keep asking the same question until its either answered or the mod is released.

It’s been answered.

A bazillion times.

(continued from ram’s post above)
…Which they aren’t going to tell us, in case something similar to what happened with the 2009 release date happens again, so to avoid any more “missed release dates means mod is ded” accusations.

So, just check back, and it’ll be an even better surprise when it’s there. WHEN it’s there.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
