Loss of Interest in BM?

The answer is no.

Everybody has always been interested in pooping.

Get it? Because everybody keeps saying “BM” which can mean Black Mesa or it can mean Bowel Movement. You see that’s the joke.

ROFL XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD YOU SO FUNNY

Two inferences that are accurate:

  1. The internal release date is in 2010.
  2. At there current rate of progress it will be out in Q1 2011.

TRUST ME I KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!!!

You mean your ass knows what it’s talking about.

Gaze upon my sphincter of wisdom.

Mmmm… sphincter gazing… My national pastime. YOU’RE NOT INVITED TO MY NATION! GET AWAY, ALL OF YOU!

Why won’t they leave my beautiful Sphinctarnia alone…

I’d say there’s definitely been a reduced amount of interest in BM. There always is with any product that gets delayed for long periods of time.

Personally, I thought Dune II was the best RTS.

And waiting for the release of Black Mesa is like waiting for that hot chick to break up with her current loser boyfriend so she can date you. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, well don’t hold your breath.

Nice Guy spotted!!

At least somebody will leak it if it never comes out.

I’m not any less interesting in Black Mesa.
I am however growing less interested in the forums.

I cant even imagine a released black mesa, it feels like something i ll never play cuz it wont be released.

Actually the days we’re waiting for the mod to release are for the dev team to ensure that the mod will be released at it’s full potential, So in this case the mod is GAINING potential every day.

I think the moment of release is actually going to be a huge disappointment… Mainly since most of us view it like the second coming of Christ or something. However, at the end of the day it’s an announcement with a download link. It’ll be completely rewarding once you play it; but the actual release itself… not so much.

I’d say yes. Most BM related topics are dead save the ones complaining about it. Theres a few threads full of bullshit stupid ideas from some assholes who think Adrian Shepard still has a chance.

The BM part of the BM forums has almost completely disintegrated. This is a message board for random shit now.

I loved the alpha version, good luck and it’s definitely worth the wait.

Get your FLAMEthrowers ready guys!

It was actually fairly good, so good luck.
What’s there to flame about?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
