I havent played the original since it was released. I was going to play it again, then I heard about this mod and decided to wait.
and wait and wait and wait …
Gland to hear it is going to be released even if it is in stages. I may have to take back some of my disparaging comments.
That’s crazy to think that you have only played the original once, and personally ive played it like… at least 15. /addict.
I’ve completed HL1 over 10 times since launch day as well. I usually replay it every 2 years. 
yeah, I’d say I play it every year… but when I do, I can’t help but play the Opposing force and Blue shift as well. haha
I play the entire franchise at least once a year, including stuff like decay and uplink. Half Life just doesn´t get old imo. Greatest bunch of games ever released.
Except for Opposing force and Blue Shift I have always only played them on consoles though. I only recently discovered the PC for myself.
Hey, really quick question! Uhmm how much longer until release because in about 16-ish hours it’s gonna be 12:47 AM which was my calculation for release? What date is it in whatever timezone they’ve talked about.

No, it probably won´t be on steam anytime soon unfortunately. You´ll download the mod from here and throw the files in your steamapps folder.

They are doing a torrent, its been said a million times and they’re not doing it early.
They have trusted people that are going to start seeding for the release.
I’ve never played it before. When I found out about this mod two years ago I decided to wait.
I’ve played a bit of Blue Shift and all of HL2 and the episodes.
Just ran through the entire series myself, as well. I remember getting all of the games as part of Half-Life: Platinum Edition. My brother borrowed a copy of HL1 from his friend and that was my first experience… After that, I practically begged my father to get me a copy.
It’s a pretty weird feeling, but this feels like another HL game is being released. I’m about on par with excitement to this as I remember being to the HL Episodes.
