My logic is don’t buy a mac in the first place.
Yes.
Once the engine itself has been ported, anything using that engine should run fine.
I’m not so sure…
They would use different code, so it would need to be recompiled for mac.
They rejected it? :fffuuu:
retards.
TOTAL RetARDS! I always knew microsoft were crap (but the Xbox is good though…)
Maybe jambo can re-title this thread STEAM ON OSX, possibly source too?
Maybe I can re-title your custom title SWIMMING MEDALIST?
Hey, I’m a Mac user who plays TF2. Don’t make me come over there…!
What? You going to kick our asses what with your portable devices and whatnot!?
I would’ve liked to see an option for PC users to play with XBOX360 users. And then maybe they could have gotten custom maps and the unlockables and such.
now i cant rub steam in the face of my friend who has a mac
Except they’ll start out with a tiny library of games.
and we will all gather and laugh at their puny game library.
(read in TF2 heavies voice)
Thought I’d drop this off on the way into town…
Hehe, that made me chuckle…
This pic is older than the invention of the bowling pin.
I just realized that it’d be funnier watching Mac users think that their hardware/operating system experience is superior to PCs, rather than pointing out how wrong they are to them.
If in the not-so-distant future I find my classmates playing Episode 3 on their Macbooks, with their friends huddled around going “OH COOL A MAC IS DA PWN”, I’ll just pull up right beside them, turn on Episode 3 Maxed out, at a much higher resolution, on my backlit chicklet-style laptop keyboard, with my high-definition Altec Lansing speakers enabled, and game away.
Maybe then people will get some common sense and ditch the biggest scam in existence today…
Win
I love Rooster Teeth comics.
Your dream is about to be realized, you see a group of mac fans playing ep3 on mac, they seem to think it’s superior to PC but you have a good eye for graphics and notice that they are running the textures on medium, you quickly take out your gaming laptop and fire up steam in offline mode, it takes you 5 seconds and you’re on the same map as the group of mac fans, your screen is much brighter, your FPS is double of theirs, and you’re running on the maximum possible graphics configuration. You’re just waiting for them to notice. And then by some monstrous streak of bad luck, as soon as the first macfag turns his head, the hl2 executable crashes and the end task box appears for the first time on your computer, as the first macfag tells his buddies to watch your screen, the unthinkable happens, BSOD! You are sweating buckets at this point, so you gently pull out the battery and put it back in, avoiding the 5 second wait of holding the power button. The macfags are laughing at you, while you’re still wondering how the fuck does this shit always happen around mac users. As you press the power button, you’re just glad your PC still works, but wait, as soon as the manufacturer’s logo flashes by, a message appears on the screen that feels almost nostalgic, while the macfags are rolling on the floor laughing, you quietly read these words:
