Don’t waste 4GB of brandwith! D: One day I had the stupid idea of buying it (was I drunk?), and I finally played it during two hours or so. Very very boring game; I stopped playing the single-player mode at 4% of the total progression. And the multi-player mode really isn’t worth it. One of my greatest deception on a video game, I’d say.
What’s the greatest physics/sandbox game?
AND IS IT WORTH ANYTHING AT ALL?
I think the answer’s pretty obvious. ZOMG LIEK GARRES MOD IZ DA BEST GAEM EVUR LULZ MIINGEBAEG.
I was surfing around Amazon.com and noticed that, apparently, Half-Life 2: Raising the Bar is available for USD $23.09 and ships within 1 to 3 months. I’ve been thinking about getting a copy for quite some time now, but all the copies I had found were way too expensive. Anyway, is this book worth buying? Because I have the money on me and wouldn’t mind spending it on a collectible item.
:fffuuu:
omg.
1-3 months?
I’ll pass.
You’re joking,
Edit: Okay, I know you’re joking.
It does have some awesome concepts and info on the franchise (not story-wise, mostly the development process of both games and how they came to pass). Mainly an art book though. Somewhat expensive in my opinion, but if you’re a hardcore fan of Half-Life, it’s good to have it.
I want it… When I find it, I’ll get it.
thats good i just wanted to make sure. I’ve played some 3rd person games with that style like resident evil 4 that seriously screwed up the controls making it really hard to control.
The controls are solid, you get used to the behind the shoulder camera pretty fast. All the people complaining on the interwebs that EA have ruined them are clearly suffering from retardation from playing too much place-your-generic-FPS-here.
I found one copy of it in a store once.
Once.
It’s a fantastic book though, really interesting read. Well, until my sister spilled milk all over it.
IMO no, unless you can find it really cheap on ebay, but i guess it depends what you want to use it for. I’ve heard that buying digital hardware is basically a waste of money, when you can get virtual instruments that sound the same for less money. On the other hand having the actual physical object is more fun.
FEAR 2 is a beautiful game, even on minimum graphical settings.
It’s also fun.
If five people agree with the guy above, i’ll get it!
Man, FEAR 2 is an amazing game.
Certainly if youre a fan of FEAR.
Well, obviously. :zip:
I’ve got one, four more.
Hey man, shutup.
Authors of Fear 2 deserve to get low sales for what they did to makers of FEAR expansions. They criticized them for making the expansions (Extraction point and Perseus Mandate) too short, yet FEAR 2 is getting reviews that say it’s also somewhat short.
So, I’m not getting it so that they learn to either keep their mouths shut, or to deliver.
Yes it is very worth anything.
Yes. Provided you can run it crash free and with pretty much, maxed gfrx.
If you dont, your missing out.
They actually don’t like the expansions because they were made to continue on from FEAR with a completely different story and they believe it just confuses people that both expansions have nothing to do with FEAR 2 or the FEAR story line. Oh and not getting a game because of that reason is a bit immature; they wont learn anything lol
