Or, it would hype it up to near god-like proportions. Obviously only to be done when the mod is near release, but I think releasing new videos/maps of a pretty complete looking mod will cause a massive stir all over the internets.
Yeah, it would be nice to hype it up just a little, so that everyone who forgot about BM:S would come back for the game’s release, but the problem with that is a date would have to be set, rather than the developers deciding when it is done, and simply releasing it immediately. The best hype for it, would be for it to be released.
They’re just working on it whenever, sometimes 5 hours, sometimes less, but they are still in the play testing stage, so they are probably just waiting for bugs to be encountered and taking it easy, which must be a nice break after coding for 8 years.
Releasing an EP3 now would be way too late, it has to be HL3 now in my opinion anyway. The whole deal with the episodes was to “get them out faster” which sure blew up in their face at this point I guess.
Well, on behalf of the vast majority of the community that was satisfied with the media releases, allow me to say this “Awesome work, if the pictures and videos are any indication of the final product, I/we can’t wait for this mod! thankyou for you hard work!”
okay, there ya go, some positive feedback now don’t go changing a thing you’re doing :3
I think they are in there final stages of making the mod because of the community projects where they are talking about small details. so I think they are touching up Finishing up some details and testing right now. But i cant wait for release this mod is so cool. Keep up the good work BMS!
Yeah I don’t understand why people complain either. I just check the site probably once or twice a month or whenever the mod suddenly pops into my mind. Sure it was disappointing when they said “before the end of 2009” or whatever, but whatever.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
