I guess I have to be the one to make the Halo 4 thread again.

Still have yet to deal with Episode 2…

So little time for anything these days. :expressionless:

I’m just gonna leave this here…

That is pretty freakin’ sweet.

context: Spartan Ops

playing this shit Legendary on solo is probably the most opposite of fun I’ve ever had

The matchmaking games are done in 2 minutes and reward you 6000xp for killing one grunt

so anyone else notice that Lasky is identical to Papa John

Better Ingredients. Better Pizza. We’re Just People.

what

So, just finished the last “available” episode on legendary. A lot of nerd rage happened while finishing the last few chapters…

I meant the game version, all the others are just indistinct piggy lookin white guys

Yeah, I meant how come the dude is like 20 different dudes

How does co-op work? I mean, do they make it feel canonical at all?

co-op campaign just has your friend as a second Master Chief, like in Halo 1 and 2. Spartan ops has your multiplayer guy and 3 other jerks with ugly color schemes and the dumbest chestpieces they could find fighting waves of covenant and forerunner on rehashed sections of campaign and multiplayer levels.

Im still down for some good ol ODST firefight if anyone wants to add me on LIVE

That being said, Valhalla is a great fucking firefight map. I was kinda ready to bitch about it till I watched a MAC cannon take out a covie cruiser that was hovering above Ragnarok’s lake.

I got the chance to play Halo 4 for a few hours on a friend’s Xbox yesterday, and I have say I quite enjoyed it. I didn’t understand the story in the slightest, since his Xbox’s sound was broken, but it was very pretty and I had a lot of fun shooting things.

The sound is half the game though! It’s as if Halo suddenly discovered that guns should actually include metal and bass in their sound effects for more than just three weapons in the arsenal! :awesome:

Seriously. Even the plasma weapons sound dangerous now.

And <3 dat new needler sound.

Well, we might actually be getting an Xbox soon, so I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.

Edit: Oh, and something that occurred to me while playing: Isn’t the Forward Unto Dawn supposed to be a frigate? Because that thing was fucking huge. I’m used to space frigates being fairly small, like the Normandy.

The Pillar of Autumn was pretty big too. Pretty sure that was a frigate as well.

The Pillar of Autumn was a cruiser.

A quick check on the wiki shows that the Dawn is a light frigate at 490m long, while the Autumn is a light cruiser at 1170m.
