I guess I have to be the one to make the Halo 4 thread again.

Forward Unto Dawn releases in exactly a week!

Support the UNSC!

Also, the newest trailer here.

I didn’t even realize that one of the actors in Forward Unto Dawn was the guy who played Drake in Aliens.

The flood in infection mode may not actually be real combat forms, as multiplayer could actually be a similation on infinity (but its still open to speculation)

but that could explain why the human-spartan combat forms in halo4MP have wierd faces

Reporting back on Halo 1: It’s kind of both. The checkpoint save was where I “Save and Quit,” but turning the machine off after playing further left the later level unlocked. Since ODST didn’t have a chapter select window, this merely brought the glitch into stark focus, but it has been there in some form since Halo:CE.

EDIT: Also applies to Halo 2.

fix’d

I don’t know where this picture came from. But apparently Fred and Kelly are also in Forward Unto Dawn along with John.

If this isn’t fake then my original WTF moment of why John is going in there alone suddenly becomes totally solved.

i remember the time halo was the most popular game on xbox…then cod came

I found out where the picture came from. It was posted on the actress’s Facebook page. According to IMDB she is legitimately the actress for Kelly, so that’s pretty awesome. :3

kelly into my fucking soul oh jesus

She looks like the cartoon version of Padime from the clone wars shorts. Gendy Tartakovsky’s, not the new ones.

Also, this feels weird to say, but does anyone feel like there’s too many white people in FUD so far? I mean, I always liked Halo because of how well mixed all the squads were. It seemed like a very sensible view of the future… even though most modern races wouldn’t exist that far in the future where cultures are blooming and developing light-years away from each other. Still though.

danny trejo and vin diesel as Noble 7

Edward James Olmos as Chief Mendez.

Serious about this one btw.

i miss the aussi-hispanic-asian-african-european voice acting that was used for the generic UNSC soldiers (in halos 1-3, 3 odst iirc), it made the marines feel diverse (bungie intended this so they could represent the diversity of earth humans)

reaches’ soldiers sounded too serious, which was fairly organic
on the contrary, maybe it was intentional as Reach’s military wasnt from earth (most marines present in all legacy halo games were from earth)

those accents the generic soldiers had in the halo games really differentiated them from the rest (i loved it too)
i hope halo 4 will keep the diverse earth marine voices

same.

I dunno. I think the cast of FUD is a good mix. And I’m not white myself so no bias or anything.

I thought all of them had Australian accents except for Johnson. :stuck_out_tongue:

“C’MON, FLOOR IT!”

“Whoaaa, it’s like a postcard… Dear Sergeant, kicking ass in outer space- wish you were here!”

“I HEARD THAT. JACKASS!”

:stuck_out_tongue:

there once was a canceled halo MMO
which had some concept art…
it had many new races and some familiar ones
like some visuals for forerunners:

A promethean (the actual soldiers, not the drone creatures in halo 4); note the weapons

Some manipulars (judging by their lack of augments and ther similarities to humans) “male” and “female”

Some Combat skins, Male and Female (most likely before the the forerunner-human/flood etc. wars, judging by how 2nd-tier tech they look)

Well the MMO was in development before Bungie really finalized the concept of Forerunners being separate from Humans, I believe.

EDIT: OFFICIAL MANTIS AND VALHALLA REMAKE REVEAL

Wubstep and teabagging in an official trailer… 12 year old demographic confirmed.

What’s different about that?

So… Raggies looks fucking great.
