I thought Spartan Ops was always going to be free?
i hope they dont put dubstep into the game
when i listen to dubstep i loose faith in humanity
Just the first season.
i remember a time when games i bought were complete products…
they better not make DLC that “expands” the campaign (i for one love campaign in halo)
Edit: Fuck, wrong thread. And it was here overnight.
Only as part of the soundtrack album; it’s not being used in the game.
Spartan Ops takes place chronologically after the Halo 4 campaign, so they literally have infinite room to expand on the story.

it seems all of spartan ops really is free, each upcoming season will be released for free
it seems reasonable since you already are paying for xbox live…
Well I would anticipate it’d be free if that were the case. I already think paying for multiplayer on Xbox is absurd, anyway, this system seems like it might be worth a monthly or so payment on its own but not ON TOP of already paying for Gold.
… so you loose faith in humanity for having different tastes in music than you? what a sad world you live in.
i personally dont think of dubstep as music
mostly because it is commonly used (if not, always) as a cheap way to remix existing pieces of music
Dubstep is really effective in gameplay footage because it’s just as sporadic and inconsistent as the stuff happening on-screen.
It’s cheaper to license a dubstep track than it is to compose entirely new music and hire someone to edit your footage so it syncs up.
FUD is here!
Helljumper, Helljumper, where you been?
Feet first into Hell and back again!
When I die, please bury me deep!
Place an MA5 down by my feet!
Don’t cry for me, don’t shed no tear!
Just pack my box with PT gear!
Cuz one early morning 'bout zero-five!
The ground will rumble, there’ll be lightning in the sky!
Don’t you worry, don’t come undone!
It’s just my ghost on a PT run!
a semi-offtopic series of questions,
Is onyx just a outer shell for the actual dysonsphere/shield world (“the sharpended shield”)
from what i read, onyx’s surface is composed of trillions of specially made sentinals and coated with a natural surface to cover it; and how did the “planet” get destroyed?
also, was the sharpened shield located within the slipstream dimension(s)? until the destruction of onyx?
is catherine hasly’s state revealed to the public? from what i read in grasslands, the ONI officially announces her dead but actually kept her in captive; now that she is one of the leaders of the spartan IV project, does that mean she is officially alive to the public?
Pretty meh for now. Another story of a random jarhead whining because military school is too hard then becoming a future hero (and I’m forgetting the mandatory crappy love-story) ; all wrapped up in the Halo universe.
But the coolest thing was the working Warthog and I’m waiting for the covenant invasion to spice up this otherwise incredibly dull story.
It’s episode 1 out of a 90-minute series. Obviously we won’t be shown the interesting bits yet.
9/10 would read again
It’s not about difficulty, it’s that he doesn’t agree with the politics of the current affairs. I’m into it.
although Halsely was (personally) arrested by ONI admiral Margaret Parangosky, she was stationed on the Infinity to work on the forerunner technology, but she was still on the Infinity while it flew to Requiem, meaning her appearance in Halo 4 is very possible
I wonder if Margaret Parangosky will serve as another antagonist in the series, as she is a pretty brutal figure in the human government; she is the one responsible for trying to jepordize human-sangheili peace agreements by conducting a coop to sow dissent in the sangheili society
the only person to ever cross her and live was Dr. Halsely (according to wiki)
ONI is corrupt
I lost pretty hard at the disappointed asian dad in FUD though.
at least ther establishing the continued diversity in humanity
normally when i see space series, they overlook diversity
