Humanity to become extinct?

the universe is gonna smoothe out into goo as soon as next week thanks 2 the second law of thermodynamics

Hahaha, that’s a knee slapper!

Really, there aren’t that many species going extinct at all. The ones that are usually do it to themselves, too.

There’s between 35-100 species going extinct every day, according to some studies, across a wide range of reasons.

What studies are these? I’m not saying it’s not true, just curious.

What I’m saying is, you can’t prove it until it happens. Maybe there is something we don’t know about creating more hydrogen. You may say that’s not true, but how can you know?

The evolution vs creationism thread is elsewhere.

I’ve heard about it on a show like National Geographic or something, but damned if I can find those studies now… :’(

No.

If you want humanity dead, please lead by example by offing yourself. :retard:

The problem is, everyone wants humanity dead with the exception of themselves.

So true. People who say they hate humans seem to selectively ignore what species they are.

I personally don’t hate the human race persé, I just think we deserve to go extinct.

Our species is on a path of self destruction anyway, and if we don’t wipe ourselves out, nature will make sure our weak and feeble bodies get crushed by a virus or a disease or unbearable conditions.

We try so desperately to control and attempt to save nature, while we can’t control or save ourselves in the first place.

Defeatist! Humans will rise to become masters of the universe!

I’m putting my money on Flash Gordon tbh.

Humanity is currently in its adolescence. It just recently got the keys to its dad’s car and is out for a joyride, dinging up the car in its reckless abandon. It might even wrap the car around a tree, but I think it will survive; humbled and more mature.

I don’t think it’s even out of adolescence judging by some of the other species’ ages.

I think that might actually happen…if we don´t kill ourselves in the first place. Like Bolteh said, we´re going to kill ourselves eventually.

And Daniel: I agree, except it´s just now hitting puberty. It slowly manages to handle it all better. But slowly, and not fast enough.

Humanity may survive, but the car will get wrecked.

Okay, we can trust Bacon. He´s gonna save us all.

Ok guys, all we have to do is send an expensive spaceship with minimal crew and a flawed computer on a risky mission to Jupiter and everything will work out.
