How you found Black Mesa

I honestly can’t remember, but I think it might have been the Steam news update.

sorry, wasn’t too sure where to put this … but thought some readers might find it interesting … CSI’s Grissom just found Black Mesa! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDeAO49Vdx4

Awesome.

Isn’t Black Mesa the building you mostly adventure inside in HL1? I pretty much found it when I started playing the game

No, seriously I found this one on ModDB  (Mod Database)

Just hope this gets finishes soon :stuck_out_tongue:

No idea how i found BM last year. Now am waiting impatently for the release

I found out about Black Mesa while I was a member of the Half-Life: Decay PC Port Forum. Somebody mentioned it in the forum and I looked it up in Wikipedia and then I clicked on the link to this website.

I was using Stumble Upon and came across it on You Tube in Dec 2008. I’ve been drooling over it ever since :retard:

I guess I was looking for mods and I came* across this one.

*Oh yeah, I came… It’s that good.

Steam update news, then i went on youtube, watched the teaser and crapped myself

What’s black mesa?

LOL same here.

After looking into HL: Source when it came out, saw it mentioned somewhere on the internet. Back when there was a html/flash version of the website and the intro of the site was a remix of the half-life monorail introduction speech.

Those were the days.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
