How you found Black Mesa

“we can do modification” :retard:

Don’t amuse him.

Like 3-4 years ago I was really bored and started typing some URL’s in my browser to see if they actually exist, I started with gordonfreeman.com then I tried halflifesource.com then blackmesa.com then blackmesasource.com and then that community website came up…

Like at the beginin, I think in 2005, one of my friends talk me about this project…

Related Youtube Video to “Beyond Black Mesa” the video and “Escape from City 17”

I finish half life 2 and I want read about “black mesa” and I found this thing so I wait and wait and wait… the game will be able to download befor 2011?

I have a friend who’s a fan. He told me about it but I didn’t get interested until I saw an article about it on Combine Overwiki.

Youtube, Was typing Black Mesa Until the words Black Mesa Source Came in.

Loved it ever since. it was in 2009 when this occured.

I think I first heard about it with the 07 teaser while perusing YouTube. I was cautiously optimistic, but my confidence has increased (as has the quality of the mod IMO).

I think I found Black Mesa when I was searching for good HL2 mods. At first I couldn’t tell if it was any good, but I realized that this wasn’t any ordinary mod after I browsed the website.

I can’t remember. It was probably through Concerned, though.

I think I read about it in PC Gamer or such…it’s been several years now

I originally found out about it while browsing the Valve Developer Wiki for singleplayer mods.

Since I don’t really play multiplayer mods, and there aren’t as many singleplayer mods out there that really appeal to me, this one really stuck out. This was back in the day when they actually had somewhat more frequent media updates… and also back when Ram was still using his Mario/Luigi avatar. Heh.

I was just surfing G4 on demand (Comcast) one day and I found the old (then new) teaser trailer.

I didn’t randomly discover this site, I waited for it’s creation all my life.

I have a birthmark on my left ass cheek that looks like a link to “blackmesasource.com

This. And how I wish I hadn’t discovered it. Back then I thought it would be out by the end of that year. Which was 2007/08 I think. The best time to discover Black mesa would be just before it comes out, in a couple of years. Just happy someone is making it.

My Parole officer told me about it.

My history teacher told me about how it started development shortly after the end of World War II.

That’s some next-gen shit.

*I’m not being sarcastic btw, I can still remember seeing that shot and others back in the day and thinking how awesome it looked compared to my original 1280x1024 experience of Half-Life.

I told a friend of mine that I liked Half-Life and he pointed me to the website saying “Check this shit out, yo.” Okay, he didn’t really say that, but that’s how I became aware of this thing.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
