Black Mesa Source found me.
I was lurking LF for a long while when the mod was just a community project, I found Leak-Free when I started getting into reskinning models.
I joined the forums 2 weeks before the mod split from them and became their own thing.
I have followed it ever since.

was following the Jurassic Rage mod for ut2004 and found a phoney trailer, where the guy that made it had used an incredible peice of music in it. searching through the comments I found that this particular song was the theme for a mod called “black mesa”. and that is how I got here.
I lurked for like, a year or two before I actually joined.
PC Gamer said something like ‘so black mesa is the reason for this communitys silence’ which is weird considering how many mods there are for the HL series. I don’t think they meant that, but w/e.

i was looking for the alyx nude mod… no wait… that was another time…
i think a friend of mine mentioned it on some party a whole lot of years ago, and i was like “yea, like that’s ever gonna happen”… then i googled it a couple of days later, and there it was in all it’s glory, i’ve been lurking on the forums ever since as a guest, but after the crash i found out i could just as well register and share my thought with the rest of you utterly crazy people.
