I’m upgrading to pci-e and geforce 9800GT for Christmas, it’s official for me. But I feel kinda sorry for the people who wont be able to run bms.
IMO a 9800GT isn’t that great of a card.

While I don’t know the current performance of the mod, I’m going to make some rough guesses. The FAQ states that if you can run Episode 2, you should be able to run BMS. I’m guessing that with the vast areas in BMS, combined with the amazing levels of detail and models, you should expect a drop of 5-10 FPS. While the team has likely done/is doing a lot of optimization, the large number of models and supposed size of the levels still creates a performance hit. If you need the extra FPS, there is, of course, always the option to switch to DirectX 8 and turn down some settings. Removing eye candy such as anti-aliasing and HDR, as well as water effects.
TL;DR: If you can run EP2, you should be able to run BMS with only a minor perfomance hit, but you should be able to regain your old speeds if you turn down settings.

Honestly no one cares about what your getting.
I already know plenty about the 9800 series cards from nVIDIA plus thats COD4, which quite frankly isn’t that demanding of a game and can be run easily on much weaker cards than the 9800GT, and IMO stands for In My Opinion, not for whatever u thought I was callin u.

Plus, that’s the official demo IW gave isn’t it, not someone playing on their 9800. I’m pretty certain when you record in COD4, whatever method, it doesn’t have the WATERMARK IN THE TOP RIGHT.

this mod will run choppily (maybe 1-2, 5 at most FPS) if at all on my current system (a five-year old Toshiba Laptop with a dozen repairs and I dunno WHAT graphics/sound chipsets.
It’s obviously a real video, and please don’t say mean comments. and it’s not a demo. It’s full version.
You should try ATI Radeon video cards instead. ATI video cards FTW!
