How does Gordon have a HUD if he doesn't have a helmet?

[color=red]IT IS A FUCKING GAME, GET A SLEEP AND THINK.

I think everyone should listen to Eric.

What a load of bullshit.

He has a HUD the same way he controls the sprint and flashlight without using his hands- The HEV suit has a user-computer interface, most likely located near the base of the spine.

Lol dead space much.

Ask Valve… these dudes are just REMAKING Half-Life

Bullet-proof advanced optic ocular-enhanced zoom glasses of fury! :awesome:

Autism. All auties have HUDs.

he is Gordon Freeman he needs no helmet to be badass unlike some green space marines

But its so difficult :stuck_out_tongue:

No it isn’t. It’s common sense.

Is it? I’ve never played Dead Space, so I wouldn’t know.

For any other game, I would agree, but remember that when you first get the suit, it says it’s activating all these systems that have to do with the HUD, and the Hazard course talks about heat dammage icons on the HUD as well. I think Valve intended those, as well as the concept of the HEV suit itself, to explain the HUD as part of the suit.

Simple answer:

Gordon isn’t seeing the HUD. You are. :3

AGBE NEWLL SAYS YOU ARE GORDAN

HOLY SHIT I AM GORDAN? LOL I HIT U WITH COWBARB!!

Oh noes, there’s probably going to be an influx of GORDAN BEARDMAANZ posts coming up now…

srsly guys

I agree with the spinal interface thing. It sounds like the likely thing to do if you are monitoring and enhancing an entire person.

I went to MIT? AWESOME! Now I can push buttons, throw switches, and shlump carts. :freeman:

“Great job, Gordon. Throwing that switch and all? I can see your M.I.T education really pays for itself”. :stuck_out_tongue:
