How awesome is...

Haha, you guys know it’s true. Don’t deny it.

a crowbar is better than wrench in real life (more uses), but in opposing force I found the wrench more useful…

BRB, gonna put some heat-resistant body armor on. anyway…

Half-life: 9/10

Op4:8.5/10

BS: Might as well stand for BullShit, 3.5/10

HL2: 6/10, found it quite boring and ended up cheating my way through.

HL2 EP1: 6.5/10 I like the feeling of ‘‘OH SHIT WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE UNLESS WE GTFO CITY 17 NAO ARGHHH’’ you get, and the ending was a cruel cliffhanger which I liked :awesome: but it was a bit short with little new content…

HL2 EP2: 8/10 I loved this. The outdoors, a new weapon, new vehicle and quite a juicy plot.

BM: 0/10 cuz trolling is fun. :3

A crowbar is used to apply leverage on crate lids etc. A wrench is a far more common and useful tool in real life.

Side note to all the NUB’S OF THE WORLD Half Life IS the best game ever made I don’t give a shit what you say It’s the best GTFO.

Oh and by the way. The barnacle gun in OF2 is so cool! It’s really useful to.Oh and I went through the game just using the alien weapons : Snarks,Spore RPG thingy monster and the Uh… shockroach

I loved Half-Life 1, but Half-Life 2 didn’t quite cut it for me. Don’t get me wrong, great game, but something about it just felt… off. So I’m giving it a 7/10 when placed up against the others. EP1 wasn’t even as good as Half-Life 2, so gets an even worse score, while Ep2 was a nice improvement and gets about HL2 but still below HL1.

Just keep in mind some of these lower scores are in relationship to the other games on this list, and not necessarily every other game I’ve played.

That, and I don’t give out 10’s because there’s always a better game and I haven’t found the perfect game yet.

HL1: 9.5/10

It’s aged but it’s brilliantly designed.

Opp4: 8.5/10

Same excellent gameplay and story but slightly ruined by an illogical, unecessary alien race and severely undisciplined troops.

BS: 4/10

Sure, you can make a game without adding content but to actually remove content? Stupid. Would have scored lower if I didn’t like the series so much.

HL2: 9.5/10

Sheer genius, in every sense. Valve got sequels right. Missed out on the full 10/10 due to poor story communication in the early stages of the game.

HL2, Ep1: 9/10

Another great game, and got a bit down to earth with less epic scenarios and more interaction with Alyx. Lost points for length and not getting the crowbar until the second last chapter.

HL2, Ep2: 9.9/10

Almost perfect. The story had been repaired since HL2, brand new enemies and locations, stunning outdoor environments and greatly improved graphics. The surprise ending shook the series to the core and will remain one of its most memorable moments, but it was still just not long enough. Can the episode idea Valve, make full games again.

brilliant game, flawless gameplay, graphics look great even if they are aged

op4: 8/10
decent and its not horrible by any means but in some areas i get the feeling i have been there and done that as gordon

BS:7/10
blue shift has to be the most stale of all in the half life 1 series, lack of new weapons nor most of the old ones. and playing as barney doesnt change the gameplay as a whole in op4 you got the sense that you were someone really different. final word: letdown

hl2: 10/10

Greatest sequel i have ever played everything about it just screams that valve wanted to make this sequel be different than half life. Justice has been served with half life

hl2 ep 1: 8/10

It was interestin, although it was practically only one step plot wise but the gameplay feels a bit odd.

hl2 ep 2 10/10
my favorite hl2 game so far i absolutely love it! It is very different from ep 1 and doesn’t feel so linear, the new hunters were refreshing and the acid lions are reminiscent of bull squids from the original. and the graphics have to have the most eye-candy i have seen in a half life game and the gore animations look absolutely wonderful in highsettings.

this thread is clearly going to become a how awesome is bm thread when bm is released
ITS OVER 90000!!!

Half-Life :10 - I found it fun no matter how many time you repeat the game over and over again.

Blue Shift :6.5 - Well, some part of it look interesting, but with hard puzzle make the game look boring.

Opposing force :8.5 - New weapon, New enemy, although it is not as good as Half-Life, but still a fun game.

Half-Life 2 :9.5 - Pretty good.(no comment)

Half-Life 2 EP 1 :9 - Pretty good, but too short.

Half-Life 2 EP 2 :9.5 - Very good, some part of it does taking my breath.

Half-Life 2 EP 3 :Not been rated yet.

Black Mesa :10 - It look as good as Half-Life with source engine.

I wonder if we should combine the two episodes into one game? Start with trying to escape City 17, end with shooting the missile and meeting the advisor. If that’s the case, then:
