Hornet gun in MP

I’ve always wondered why AGrunts had just one hive hand on the right arm. The left arm just looked a little more basic but did the exact same thing.

Does anyone agree with me that both arms should be symmetric, whether it be two basic hands or two awesome hivehands?

The original hivehand/basichand, for me, unbalances it.

Check in your half-life sound file, you can find HEV suit saying “Unidentified bio-weapon”

akimbo Hivehand on Agrunt? Sound awesome, but i don’t think dev will change it easily, i bet original hivehand/basichand does explain how Agrunt shoot you on long range, and charge to you and punch you in face in close range.

how would the agrunts be able to text their friends or go to the bathroom without a free hand?

seriously… the hornet gun is good as it is.
if you are a good player you can dodge the bees and it’s also an important part to use the hornet in some situations during a 1 on 1 game.

you stick your hand up its ass and squeeze the bag of bees that’s inside , when they come out they’re pissed and chase off and sting the first thing they see

Oh man, you beat me to it, I was gonna ask if it ever occurred to anyone, that the weapon itself has no locking or fancy kibops. It’s basically just that the bees you shoot are pissed the fuck off and will chase anything they can fuck up. :slight_smile:

I am pretty sure the HEV suit was specifically designed for Xen Survery teams and other dangerous tasks. As a result, the survey teams probrably added the new weapons they found into the suits databases to help them in the future on Xen if they came across them again.

I once tinkered around the SDK with something I really wanted to see, and that was charging up a swarm of homing bees to launch at once. (Sadly, the bees would collide with oneanother and result in nothing, even when their launch locations were spaced from oneanother. The hitboxes were just too big to pull off effectively.)

I hope you liked the idea of simultaneous bees as much as I did.

Okay, okay, I figured i would get a clever lil answer like this from you.

A sword or gun is a seperate item used as a weapon. The hivehand is part of the Agrunt. …And it’s other hand does the exact same effects, damage, and actions, except has a vagina for a hand.

All i’m saying is why do they have to have one hivehand when you could make the Agrunts body parts symmetrical.

Unless you have a thing for asymmetric autonamy, give it a thought. :slight_smile:
