I though of something:
How about it? Any of you talent interested?

I just found out about the wiki a little bit ago, and decided to head over and check it out. I found the chapters section pretty bare so I started editing the one with the most current information I knew about and did a forum search for comments devs made about the On a Rail chapter. I am not finished with it. There are some more stuff I want to do, especially when we get some templates in and access to the uploading files and images.
Here is what it currently looks like. Let me know if you see any changes I should make, or just change it yourself if you like. Link me to any other information you know about that the dev’s have posted.
Take out the bits about HECU and replace it with the military. HECU isn’t canon
Otherwise it looks great, especially the references. Everyone should use them. Not only do they verify your information, they’re an easy way to learn more about the topic at hand. In theory.
Hmm there are articles already up on the HECU Marines and HECU snipers. If we rename the links, it will lead to new pages, correct? If so, we will need to copy over the old pages.
Done. I created the references section myself since there wasn’t a template for it, so as a result it works a little different. I loaded a wikipedia.org page to be a reference for what the page should look like.
Something that came to my attention a minute ago. There isn’t a monorail page. I would create it myself, but I really need to get off an finish some homework. I also couldn’t think of how to start it. So if anyone wants to give it a go, feel free.
Edit: etb513 is right, there are pages with the title HECU in them, so I am going to keep HECU in and link to the marines page.
Raw_bean, I don’t think i can edit it with great awful grammar.:awesome:
Well, I added some summaries for the chapters between “Blast Pit” and “Apprehension”. Edit away, I’m not much of a Wikipedier.
Im uploading masses of pics - check https://wiki.blackmesasource.com/index.php/Special:ListFiles and add them into relevant pages :3
EDIT: Never mind that…
yeah I tried that a little bit ago.
Yeah I put links to images in a lot of the articles I worked on. When images are working I’ll switch them over to thumbnails. Hopefully it gets fixed soon!
One of my dislikes of mediawiki: you can’t embed external images
Yeah it’s a pain, but once we can upload them to the wiki server it won’t be a big issue.
Hey Cameron, when we get the chance to upload files and images online, do you think you could upload the ones on https://www.rabidmnky.com for me, it has the ones for the article I am working on.
I edit the HECU sniper page, edit it if i was wrong.
Why is the wiki using size 8 text?
Its super tiny.
What ones? All?
I just changed the theme, sure - its not Black Mesa-ish but it fills the screen and has 12pt font.
ATTENTION: IMAGE UPLOADING IS FIXED!
:retard:
Awesome.
Starting to upload weapon images.
EDIT:
Weapons and major models uploaded.
Currently uploading decent level shots.
EDIT EDIT: Ill keep a list of everything I’ve uploaded on my user page

How about a link to the wiki in the nav bar? For members, that is, when logged in.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
