Help us make an awesome wiki!

Yes, I realized that too late. My edit sort of reflects that, but it still doesn’t get around the issue. For now, I’ll just have to bookmark the wiki.

I’ll only lose a bunch of my download quota

hey guys, I’ve enabled embedding of youtube videos!

check this page for an example;
https://wiki.blackmesasource.com/index.php/Gluon_Gun

Finally my internet is back… Australia and internet can not be in the same sentence with out the word fail in there too.

I’ve almost completed the uploading of some level screens.

EDIT:
There we go. A nice big list of everything I just uploaded, all nicely formatted with thumbnails and all :3

Added some of Cameron’s thumbnails to the weapons pages and added Media sections to them (left out the Mp5 due to it not having any current media)

Edited Inbound, Blast Pit, Residue Processing and Surface Tension.

EDIT: Any news on the possibility of a larger font? My eyes hurt from all the squinting :expressionless:

ctrl + scroll up

Garcian added a low res screenshot for of the MP5 from the dev video.

Edit:
I added some screens from https://www.Rabidmnky.com of the On A Rail chapter. Also, I apologize to Angry Beaver for mistakenly giving credit to Rabidmonkey for being the chapter lead.

I realize this might be more information than you guys would like to give out, but is there anyway we can get a list of who is working on what chapter avoid this from happening again?

Did the TOW launcher.

Interesting. I might contribute sometime.

I think we are pretty limited on detail for a lot of the topics (except for what we know won’t change from HL1), but I’m sure it’ll develop to a more in-depth wiki after release.

Yes absolutely. Once the MOD is released, it will be very complete, I’m sure.

Most of the level screenshots have the chapter lead down the bottom left.

Its out of date, I think. If you look it says that the On A Rail lead is Pop tart, but RabidMonkey edited my page to say that Angry beaver was heading up the chapter.

Letters are too small.
(yes I know you can CTRL+scroll but i would prefer a slightly bigger font)

Ok I added a new section to the On A Rail chapter. Its beginning to look more complete imo. But I am afraid that it looks a tad cluttered. The new section I added was about gameplay elements and I talked exclusively about the tram. I added a tram render and embedded the youtube development video. Unfortunately, the Dev video takes up a lot of space, and despite my best efforts I haven’t been able to shrink it or make it look any better. I had to place the render and the youtube video in a table just to make sure that the youtube video didn’t force itself to take up half of the page. Any thoughts on how to improve it? https://wiki.blackmesasource.com/index.php/On_A_Rail

I put my oar in on the main Black Mesa Research Facility page… I know there’s more to be done, but I’m tired!! Thought it improved the very stubby stub somewhat though.

Oh, and thanks to whoever edited the page while I was editing; you showed me how to do descriptive internal page linking (i.e. displaying “Silo D Experimental Propulsion Lab” for a link to “Blast Pit”). Cheers!

Wow, glad to see people appreciate my writing skills on Office Complex. :3 Also, I added the gameplay for it, anyone feel free to put it in a proper wiki-style section on the page.

tbh, your Office Complex synopsis sounds more like a description for Unforeseen consequences.
maybe talk more about the environment and common enemy types: zombies, ceiling turrets, etc

Haha, that would be me, sir :stuck_out_tongue:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
