Everything works again though.
This is a bit off topic, but should we change the holo emitter?
I really liked this thing that we had in the previous thread:
Not that Lars his work is bad, but this thing is more detailled like the button so you can playback the demonstration.
We’re going in circles again. Lets pick a topic and stick with it for a few pages.
So are we going with that thing, or something else.(i got short term memory gehhe :$)
We never figured I out. Just another thing to figure.
If we go with that design, it needs to be a tad shorter. It might be awkward having to look up at Gina all the time.
We also need concepts for the railed holo-emitter.
I wonder who we could look for that could give us concepts… Hmm…
Well who did the concepts for these designs?
I think it was Deathmonkey, he did the concept art for the last time (I think) this project was attempted.
Well we need someone, so…
Has anyone seen him around the forums, lately?
Nope. You could search him up on the forums, I guess.
Okie dokie, I sent him one. I’ll cross my fingers and hope our search for an artist ends, but I wouldn’t hold my breath on it.
ive asked deathmonkey to draw.terminal concept.its been a month now, so i think he is not avaible or forgot about it.
Huh.
Well, then. Out the window that goes.
Eitherway about the conference, what topics are we going to talk about?
General direction of the project, what needs to be done, when/how to connect, our current priorities, and possibly some deadlines (if that’s necessary to give ourselves a stab in the ass to get things going).
We should write up a list of things to discuss on the collaborative doc.
Like I said before, he doc doesn’t function properly on this thing, so I can’t contribute to that.
It mostly boils down to team communication. A large portion of how disorganized we are (which is by far the biggest problem we have) is due in part to us not telling each other what’s up.
That was supposedly the point of the collaborative doc… the problem is that nobody checks it too often.
I’ve been in contact with Lars via email though. We’re making tons of progress in the props department. I’m very impressed.
Communication like that is essential. Look at what it’s produced! The shooting range is moving along very nicely because of it.
Yeah, but geometry wise very slow…jk
Eitherway I agree that we need to make a list.
Geometry wise it’s pretty much done. We just need general art direction and some final entity I/O touchup before we begin texturing.
Start a list. I’ll add to it when I get the time.
