There won’t be any lights on by the time the player is actually inside the room. The recovery room (which has a ladder instead of stairs, but serves the same purpose) always has lights on, but the light spilling from it doesn’t illuminate any of the actual course, just highlights the doorway.
In Opp Force there was a fatty Barney with a canadian accent(He was really funny).
Ain’t he funny?
You could do something like this with a irish Barney (Serza)
Shouldn’t we if he acts bad before we put him on the team?
Who all is involved in the “hiring” process? I know Box looks over volunteers, and occasionally tells me a name, but as far as I know it’s only him. Other than Dky, and JeffMOD, I myself wasn’t aware anyone new joined the ream until either they appear in our document or Got a folder in our dropbox. and people are usually “accepted” without any reliable way of knowing if they’re actually capable of doing what they say they can, or if they have the time to do it. If this is the way our team member acceptance process proceeds then we’re gonna have some problems bigger than a bad actor. Our team’s getting pretty big as it is, and I’m not sure everyone knows who’s working on what or simply who’s even here.
We need to have this discussion before accepting anyone else into the team and then there’s the possibility that some will have to go. Box, you told me we needed 3 choreographers the other day, but depending on the work to be done - which hasn’t been figured out yet - we may only need one. I think from this point on applicants and required positions need to go under team discussion, with most if not all members voicing their thoughts. If we don’t organize quickly the project isn’t gonna keep at such a steady rate. I suggest we organize a time where we can all talk about these things soon.
what do you man with you’r last sentence? like a group discussion planned on a certain date?
Yeah, something like that. Only 5 people use the document, and that’s seldom used. Only DKy and I use the group chat, and thread is 4 of us plus a few forum members. Our PR is better than out internal communication.
I can join in on 21 of.december.the rest of days.im busy with other things
I don’t think we can wait that long. That’s almost a month just to discuss a matter that’s affecting us now
Box is just kinda addicted to hiring people.
I say we shouldn’t bring on any more people than absolutely necessary. It’ll become a logistical nightmare for such a small project, it’s absolutely unnecessary to have such a large team.
I think it should be in the next two weeks, tops. When do y’all think? I can be available at practically any hour of any day this month.
About.2 weeks is fine for me.
I may or may not have time depending on schoolwork. If all goes well, then next weekend, possibly.
The weekend of the first or the eight?
And then there was silence.
Really we need to fix up our communication at some points.
…
That’s exactly what I’m saying, and exactly what we’re planning the discussion for. We need to start planning more before we just go with whatever pops up.
Could I possibly help with the beta testing?
We’re not even close to beta, (but we’ll give a sign when we are?)
I think we should add the ModDB page to the OP, as well as something along the lines of “Do not ask to be a tester. When we’re ready for that we’ll let you know.”
Good idea.
Man, where’s Teh King when ya need him?
Also, what’s with concept artists thinking they’ll get paid for a free project even when stated the work is non-paid? Got another decent artist wanting $9 an hour.
