You know, I just remembered how in the original hazard course you could kill the personel and the turrets and then finish the training like it was nothing. I don’t know if here you’ll let the player keep the weapons after the firing range, but if you do and this option would still be available, once the training is done a text could pop up saying something like: “gordon freeman was later arrested and fired for improper use of weapon equipement and homicide” I think it would ensure some hilarity especially after being congratulated for making it through the test.
I think there should be message about employment termination for improper use of firearms, like in Blue Shift, just as the player damages an NPC.

You can keep your guns after the range. You can kill people if you want to, but Gordon will not be allowed to complete the course if you do.
