Half-Life Source saves?

So I recently started playing Half-life Source for the very first time. I’m about a third of the way through.

Is it at all possible that Half-life Source saves will be able to be loaded in Black Mesa? I would love to play it with the updated-UPDATED graphics, but I don’t really want to play through the first 6 chapters again.

I very much doubt it. While this mod aims to recreate HL with the updated graphics and such, it’s not a 1:1 recreation. The area you’re in now (wherever it is) might not even exist in BM.

I would play through the first 6 chapters again because Black Mesa is the shit.

how about you beat Half-Life Source and then beat Black Mesa. You need something to compare it to, and for the time being you won’t get to play Xen unless you finish Half-Life.

I read somewhere that BM is only the first 14 chapters? Is that correct?

You will be able to play up until the end of the Lambda Core chapter.
