Half-Life 3 Probable Storyline

way to steal my post jackass t(^^t)

edit: oh and btw for all you retarted fuckbags G-man is only a nickname for him because no one knows his real name if anything thats halfway believeable that ive seen so far is Gov-Man as a nickname because of suitcase and suit or God-Man because of his powers so will you all please sthu about G-man being gordon or something

Isn’t G_man based on what the model was called in code of the original game? which really could mean anything. Its a term used by the comunity, and as the character is never once refered to G_man in the whole series by other charaters it would be odd to make predictions on what the name means.

I see HL3 taking place in an alien super city much larger than the citadel filled with slave minority goups used for the their cause which humanity and vorts are only a small part.
Kinda of a take on the current wave of forced and unforced imagration and the pervasive nature of globilisation.

The only time he is directly referred to is by Eli in Episode 2, who calls him ‘Our Mutual Friend’.

Exactly, thats not allot to go on.

I`d like to see some realpolitik in EP3. You DO NOT destroy the Combine. You negotiate with them from a new position (having chased them from Earth) and reach a peace agreement.

Well, that’s not the stupidest thing I’ve heard all day, but it’s certainly up there.

if you could honestly settle for that, then your bar is set pretty low bro. Very anti climatic especially for a video game. Plus i doubt any of the humans wouldn’t mind blowing them all to hell after what they’ve been through.

Yeah, in a game where all problems can be solved with a crowbar and convenient physics objects, I doubt that valve would include inter-galactic diplomacy. Just a hunch.

Well what are you waiting for Gordon? Sign the treaty.

Anticlimatic, perhaps, but at least original.

at least you think so too

The diplomacy could be like a little mini-game!

Im mean it would be a wtf moment. Cant debate that.

How bout the borealis?

Lets face it - if Gordon is able to defeat a whole interuniversal empire, he is just a bit too much of a Mary Sue. I mean, youve got to stop somewhere. He is Freeman, not Superman.

Besides, we don`t even know how evil is the Combine by interuniversal standarts. They may be the nicest guys on the block.

What about it?

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if HL3 had nothing to do with the Borealis. They could easily come back to that in a later installment of HL3.

I mean to say, HL3 COULD be just the introduction where (whoever ends up going) makes their way to the Borealis. The HL3 arc will probably include the (explorable) Borealis at some point.

I’m expecting more advanced, complex Combine enemies…

One I think we’ll see the borealis in Episode 3 and never again, Im sure it’ll be good fun and important but after those 6/7 hours are over I realy dought we’ll see that ship again.

I dont think we’ll see the combine in the sense were used to again either, As there pretty much enslaved humans that have been added too.

I would hope in HL3 we get to go toe to toe with the original enemys of the 7 hour war.

Shit, I had forgotten about Episode 3. Now that I take EP3 into account, I’m pretty sure HL3 won’t have anything to do with the Borealis.

Now a big one
The game’s set in 2007
G-man liberates Gordon Freeman, and teleports him to a different Earth, futuristic, with technology of Black Mesa, and this as the lead corporation on Earth, now known as BLACK MESA, more than Black Mesa Research Facility. His president has a unknown name. This time the humans are free. Gordon still haves his Black Mesa job, and he goes to a big building known as EXF. Gordon make tests with Xen animals here. Vortigaunts are also prisioners, and hates humans. He make some experiments on the game, but after, an accident happens to some part of the building, he goes to that zone and found some of the weapons, killing unleashed aliens. Then he seals the zone, but, after Gordon starts viewing dark, and getting mad. Gordon wakes up on an hospital and a nurse says to him his status is very grave, some people had it that disease and she hopes he comes okay. He sleeps and wakes up again, very good. The medics say he’s now fine and he can leave, and if he needs more information he needs to talk with his EXF boss. Then, he leaves the hospital and goes again to EXF, his boss talks to him about the disease Gordon had. Also that more people is having the disease and 2 of them died. He gives to Gordon a hotel place to live, but way to it, a strange people with guns that shoots syringes starts attacking to security guards, people and Gordon. These guards gets mad like zombies and atack people, but it doesn’t make nothing to him, and gets the guards’ guns and kills that people. Way in the street, kiling these enemies, one shoots Gordon with a syringe with cloroform and Gordon falls. Then, gordon appears tied, and a guy talks to him:
-Hey, you’re called Freeman, i think. I am Bill Johnson. Call me Bill, i’m from the CBM union. Since 2005 we had a powerful disease that makes us more powerful, stronger, free… We love this “drug” and, since Black Mesa gone a big corporation, is messing up the world, and killing poor Xenians. We’re going to promote them liberty with this powerful drug, liberty to the aliens, just happiness, and, if they don’t want, we’ll fuck off the cities and people that is with Black Mesa. And we know you’re with them, and you have the cure to this disease or drug. We don’t want you. Say goodbye in 4 hours.
But, an explosion happens, and a big monster like a gargantua appears. Gordon gets the guns appeared on the building, killing the gargantua. He gets a vehicle and gets out of that place, but an helicopter follows him. The helicopter loses Gordon in the process, but going to a big antlion caves. After he goes back to the city, being destroyed by the CBM union. Gordon goes to the city, and make a big fight against vehicles, tanks, and never saw weapons. The president of the city (I really said right) sends him to an arctic place (Where the CBM lead city is) on a plane, but in this, gets shot by the CBM and falls in a forest. Gordon finds here a big factory with the disease. He deactivates it thorugh enemies. Finally, he goes to the city to talk with the administrator of the CBM Union. Sadly he has to fight against soldiers and stuph like. He lies and says that he will stop. After you leave, soldiers try to kill Gordon, but he kills them and go again to the administrator’s place, and he accidentally falls in a factory using the disease, and he transforms into a monster. Final boss…!!
