Grand Theft Auto 5

Just a bit of curious info I found:
https://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/06/rockstar-red-dead-redemption-on-pc-isnt-happening-not-viable/

Fairly recently, when Rockstar confirmed that Red Dead Redemption isn’t coming for PC, they DID say this:

By “Grand Theft Auto titles” I’m positive they’re including GTA V, if not all future GTAs, as this quote was done less than a month ago, and although GTA V wasn’t announced yet I’m sure they wouldn’t have phrased it like that if it wasn’t coming to PC as well.

Why bring all the GTAs though if you’re not going to do RDR as well?

The Red Dead franchise, as short as it is, has always been console exclusive. Both Max Payne and GTA were born on the PC, so it makes sense to keep those on the PC.

As much as I wish it where true, devs often have little loyalty to the platforms that make them big.

We’ll find out tomorrow either way, won’t we.

I’d bet anything that GTA V is coming to PC. No doubt about it. When, though, is the question…

Would you actually be willing to bet anything on it or are you just saying that?

damn it, its the 2/11/2011 here. why does America have to be behind

more liek 13 hrs

The trailer doesn’t drop on midnight.

Oh I’d be glad to bet that it’s coming to PC eventually (by Xbox 360 emulators of the future if it needs to :stuck_out_tongue: )

Why do you have to be ahead? Fucking overachiever.

Don’t insult people from the future, dude.

I’m not afraid of them, I’m going to kill a fly I shouldn’t have and cause giant man eating flies in future and fuck him up.

It’s 3.30 PM at November 2 here…
Damn the Americans of the past

Don’t know if it is true, but interesting…

regarding everyone whining about times and dates, the trailer release was specified at 12pm EST to begin with

quit being dumb and suck it up

Why would you trust /v/?

Well /v/ was right

The trailer was ok.

Watched it and…

Pretty awesome, I’m wondering if it’s just Los Santos with surrounding country or other cities like San Andreas. Guess we’ll find out more in the coming months.
