We are very busy working on the game! Everything is going well, but the game is a huge project. We should have more information and some new assets for you soon.

As we have said before, we have often had long gaps between asset releases on previous games and will continue to do so in the future. We are sorry if you find this frustrating, but please understand, we don’t do this because we ‘don’t care about our fans’ 'don’t respect our fans’ ‘hate GTA fans etc’ – precisely the opposite! We do it because we want to make sure we only release 100% correct information, and because we want to keep plenty back for the actual game release so there are still lots of surprises when you play it. The only things we care about are that you enjoy the experience of actually playing the game and that we release accurate information. We just have not been in a position to show more of the game than the trailer and will not be for a while yet. We did, however, manage to sneak a quick screenshot out for you… it’s not much, but we thought it was pretty fun.

The city was simply too small for effective and enjoyable flying. It was the first time we made a high definition open world, and it was a massive amount of work to make something on that scale – we simply could not make an environment big enough for planes to work properly. Fear not, they are returning in what is our biggest open world game to date.

Supposedly a partial GTAV vehicle list was found in MP3’s files. The partial list names 48 cars, 5 bikes, 10 helicopters, 1 plane, 25 boats, 9 trains, as well as various snow vehicles, skiing, and snow plow.

If this is real then holy shit. That’s a lot of vehicles.

I hope they put satchels in gta V because in gta iv there wasn’t satchels and I was kinda dissapointed

M-m-m-more GTAV pictures!
The lighting looks like it’s improved from IV. IV looked good at some points but a lot of the time it was brown, gray, and orange. I hope that doesn’t happen in this game.

And looks like you’ll be able to play tennis. There’s going to be a shitload of stuff to do in this game from the look of it.

I’m wondering how this is affecting GTA’s reputation. For people who haven’t played it GTA is “that game where you kill hookers”. I wonder if some of those people are confused if they have seen these pictures. They probably haven’t but it’s an interesting thought.

gta games just have such incredible worlds, even if the next game isnt fun, you wanna buy it just to see all the amazing effort that goes into them.

Any prediction on the game size? By scale this game would be more than 10x bigger than MP3.
And MP3 was around 30+ gigs…

Better compression methods and changes to how the engine handles stuff maybe?

How the fuck would they get this on Xbox if it is worse than MP3? It would have to come on like 4 (or more) discs or some shit.

And I don’t see how it’d only be 10x bigger, considering MP3 was extremely linear and didn’t take place in huge areas.
