HOORAY! Wait, I don’t like new GTAs anyways.
It has color. Thats something.
I don’t see what you’re trying to prove there.
GTA4 with mods has high amounts of glossy paint, while GTA5 has more conservative, less glossy paint.
Seriously, in the real world, cars are never as shiny and clean as they look in those GTA4 shots, unless they’re on a showroom floor.
That current consoles can’t keep up with modern computer hardware?
Holy shit boss, stop the presses!
I don’t get it, it’s like he expects Rockstar to magically whip up better graphics on the current consoles than what GTA4 with mods can do.
To be fair, it does look quite a bit better than GTA4 but that’s nothing a more optimized RAGE engine can’t do. After all, it was terribly unoptimized back then, even on consoles.
I think the main thing that people didn’t like about IV’s graphics were that it was all brown and gray. From the trailer it looks like that’s remedied. It’d still be nice to have those types of mods though, especially if this new engine is more optimized.
I seriously think GTA 5 should wait a couple years. I mean XBOX 360 HAS BEEN HERE FOR 7 YEARS, and xbox could use a new console. Maybe xbox 1337.
Why should GTA wait for a new console cycle? What does it stand to gain? There isn’t really anything they can’t achieve gameplay wise on current gen.
GTA doesn’t need better graphics. It needs more diverse and fun gameplay. It needs a city that is a blast to play in , a city that feels alive and believable. It needs to be wacky and fun again.
Saint’s Row 3 has average visuals at best but it’s probably gonna be a complete riot.
True, but if GTA 5 is going to play like 4, I’d rather play with a better graphics.
I already preordered SR3, so screw gtas after SA
No problem.
I think GTA V looks good, will probably be playing it when it is released.
If that’s console footage in the trailer that’s pretty impressive. The new lighting makes everything look much crisper and more vibrant. And the view distances are amazing too, for that level of detail they’re getting.
Looks like GTA San Andreas II to me.
And that’s a great thing.
You say that like it’s a bad thing.
Quoting Sam Houser, GTA V wil be 2 times bigger than Red Dead Redemption but will only feature Los Santos and its countryside.
And RDR was massive.
Yeah, something doesn’t add up. Either Los Santos is now much much bigger than it was in GTA: SA or they’re hiding the fact that they recreated the whole San Andreas state.
Do they mean in terms of map area or content? Or simple file size, 2 times bigger when it comes to games is a pretty vague statement.
