Gordon's Thoughts

Wait… That thing in the microwave back in Black Mesa was a casserole?
or
HEY BARNEY! Oh. He’s dead…

Scientist: Why do we all have to wear these ridiculous ties?
Gordon: Cuz’ I said so.

WHAT BRO? :stuck_out_tongue:

Am I the only one addicted to this medkit shit?

Triple post? Seriously?

Barney: HEY GORDON I OWN YA A BEER!
Gordon: If some1 were givin’ to me a dollar everytime ya say it, I would be rich.

“I NEED MORPHINE!”
jumps from high ledge

The one thing he must think, over and over again is, “Not again…”

He should be wondering why he only talked once in the entire series

When did he talk?

Gordon talked?

As said above me, when did Gordon talk?

I only know his “ngh”, “argh”, one the consoles when he’s walking through the poison water

That’s more like grunts than actual speech. :3

Y’all got trolled guis.

My life is a lie!! I’ll go hang myself in the shower hose.

He does indeed talk one time. In HL1, if you screw around too long in the test chamber, you’ll hear a rather high-pitched voice say, “What is he doing in there?”, and a scientist will answer back, “Nothing you need to worry about, Gordon, carry on.” Since this voice sounds like none other in the game, and since the scientist seemed to be talking to Gordon, I think this is the only time Gordon ever talks.

Jesus Christ that’s stupid. Here’s what really happen’d IMO: Dr. Breen came in, to check if everything was alright, and then wondered what Gordon was doing. This is just my theory but Gordon will never talk. Also: Why would Gordon honestly say “what’s he doing in there”?

Because the scis were screwing around, ie talking about higher power levels, but kept backtracking and saying it was fine, so Gordon asked what was going on. Besides, why would Breen come in, say that over the intercom, and the scientist tell Gordon what he should be telling Breen, over the intercom, no less? And besides, Breen didn’t even exist as a character in the HL1 series. He was only referred to as the administrator. That’s why, unless Valve had planned the whole series from 1998, you have to take a few things in the HL1 series with a grain of salt. Remember how the original story said that the day of the incident was Gordon’s first day, yet in HL2, it has been retconned so that Gordon worked there for a few months?

Even then: Why would Gordon say “what is he doing in there”? Just why? He can’t see through walls. He wouldn’t know who he was refering too.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
