I may have said this before, but in any case, Black Lagoon is…well, it’s kind of a parody, in the sense that it’s kind of supposed to be what anime would be like if Hollywood made it, so it’s kind of crazy and violent. Which is kind of interesting. But they didn’t know how to keep the crazy in check it seems. I feel like when spoiler [COLOR=‘Black’]the vampire kids appeared that the series just kind of jumped the shark. Besides it already being super violent and Revy being a super asshole, it then just suddenly crosses genres without warning. Kinda just grated on me, so I stopped watching it. Not my cup of tea, but others might like how excessively excessive it is. Because it certainly is.

Also, I watched Nausicaa for the first time not too long ago. Really good film, but then Miyazaki can pretty much do no wrong.

Jormangund was pretty good. I personally really enjoyed Tasogare Otome x Amnesia. Also, Elfen Lied was a good anime. But I friggin’ loved the opening theme.

Here’s another anime for you: Devil May Cry.
It’s similar to Hellsing, with cool guns and swords and what-not, but I feel that it succeeds in areas that Hellsing fails in. Watch and see.
