God damn Steelseries

Never buy a fucking Steelseries headset, I have tons of those lying broken in the trash bin. When I use one of those cheap 5 bucks headsets they work for a much longer period of time.

Anyway, I made this thread to say “fuck you Steelseries” and also ask if you guys knew any good gaming headsets (preferably under 200$). I’m looking at one called Roccat Kave, can anyone vouch for it?

I don’t know about it, but I can vouch for a brand called Astro

Funny enough I was rolling around facepunch and that was posted as a recommendation for someone and met with roaring praise.

For some reason (international shipping I guess) that thing costs more than 200 bucks if you buy it in Denmark, so that’s a no no.

EDIT: On another note, I’m also looking for a new mouse, what do you guys think of the Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 7 mouse?

^ Ohh damn, I will try to get that when I can

Fuck you Bose

Fuck you sennheizer

Fuck you Beats by Dre

Fuck you Monster Cables

Sony beats them all combined in terms of lifetime expectancy

I went with the Roccat Kave, it’s very good so far; I’ll get back to you guys if it fucks up like Steelseries.

Yeah, I got a pair from the mid-80s that not only still work, but they sound better than any other headphones in the house. A household of an ex radio broadcast host and current corporate video producer, an editor, and an amateur sound designer.

That being said, don’t talk shit about sennheizer.

I got these cheap-ass Sony headphones (MDR-ZX100) for 15 bucks at my local superstore and they’ve lasted longer than much more expensive headphones.

And their sound ain’t too shabby either. Just wish the cord was longer.

I need moar halp guise!!!

I’ve been looking at a soundcard to go with my new headset. My question is, will this soundcard and my motherboard go together?

Motherboard
Soundcard

you should buy a sound card that’s not from 20 000 BC

I would give you one of my soundblaster audigy’s(I have 5) but I don’t wanna pay the shipping.

Anyway I’m sure you’ll get better sound out of the Gigabyte onboard than the CMI8738
