Games You're Excited About

Title says it all. Post what games you’re excited about and post news/comments/whatever about it whenever you can.

Mine…
Heavy Rain:

I need to buy at least one game that’s based on a new IP to I can say that I’m not contributing to the non-existent downfall of the game’s industry. Plus, the demo was great!
Splinter Cell: Conviction:

Is it a true Splinter Cell game? Maybe not. Still, it looks pretty damn awesome if you ask me. My friend’s pretty pissed though.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker:

It’s Metal Gear, and does not have “AC!D”, or “Snake’s Revenge”, or “Portable Ops” in the title. 'Nuff said.
Halo: Reach:

It’s Halo, and does not have “Wars”, or “Tactical Card Battle Game”, or “Kart” in the title. 'Nuff said.

Also, I would like to point out that, if you list Half-Life 2: Episode 3, Portal 2, or Black Mesa, I would like to point out that… no one will be impressed. If you’re on these forums, it’s a pretty good sign that you’re excited about those games, so don’t bother posting them.

And…

Heavy Rain

MAYBE Peacewalker. I, too, didn’t like PO very much but hopefully this one is more like the console ones.

Have you played the demo? It’s like a “dumbed down” MGS4, which is pretty remarkable for a PSP game.

I have not. Might need to check that out.

Black Mesa

That too.

Red faction guerrilla sequel.

crackdown 2

Unlike you, the biggest cutscene, I mean MGS fanboy on the planet saying he’s looking forward to a MGS game.

The point stands.

And you like Crysis. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, Half Life has no cutscenes so… TAKE THAT!

:frowning:

They both tell great stories in their own way.

Okay guys, enough:

Red Dead Redemption
Just Cause 2
Brink
Fallout: New Vegas
Aliens vs Predator
Oblivion MMO
Perfect Dark
Uhh… plenty more to come.

Edit: I love how three of those games are from Bethesda alone.

Fallout New Vegas
Battlefield Bad Company 2

Just Cause 2. Sooooo much.

Just Cause 2, Metro 2033, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Fallout: New Vegas.

Have you honestly ever played Crysis?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
