Games That you were dissappointed with

I think aiming was the least disappointing thing about Borderlands. I mean, there were no real characters, there wasn’t really a “world” to speak of: everyone just stayed leaning against things or sitting down and never said or did anything.

And don’t get me started on the ending…

World of Warcraft 'nuff said :expressionless:

Well, there’s nothing disappointing about WoW, unless you’re fool enough to expect good things from it.

Hahaha. So true. Expect nothing, lose nothing :stuck_out_tongue: . Well, except the time you lose to realize its terribleness.

I can’t stand WOW. I’d play it, but I’m not paying for subscription fees

Also, Fable II. I know it’s been mentioned already, but Fable II.

This^10

I’ve added “Splinter Cell Double Agent” to my list. I enjoyed the first 3, went into the 4th one expecting more or less the same with some teaks to find they killed the interface in every possible way to the point that it completely ruins what little was good about the game.

The opening cinema is as long as a DVD menu screen and can only be skipped the first time. Every time you want to return to the menu after playing you have to watch it again.

The bugs are completely unpredicted.

One of the first levels that takes place in a blizzard has almost no visibility and yet the enemies can see you halfway across the tundra.

The enemy base with the open ended missions is just tedious as opposed to interesting or fun.

The loading screens between missions, while interesting, are long. You watch them once and then you want to skip them. And I know it doesn’t take the entire scene to load, because games never take that long to load for me and the level starts instantly after the first loop of an opening.
For Example: Imagine having to watch the intro to each mission while playing MW2… in full… and no way to skip… every time. It’s painful.

I am probably the only person I know who will say I was dissappointed with Resident Evil 4
(then again, I had only before played RE3 and the over-the-shoulder camera scheme on the PS2 controller felt a bit clumsy to me.

Halo for the PC, too many overpowered weapons

Simcity Societies.

AAAARG GODDAMN YOU LIONHEAD

This, bscly.

And Fable III if you know what I mean^_^

I don’t?

Splinter Cell: Conviction. Seriously. They removed the ability to knock people out, you have to kill them. Can’t forget that the AI are all wearing horse blinders. Also, not being able to move bodies? In a stealth game? Come on, Ubisoft. :meh:

What, you mean that you don’t like the fact that it is nearly impossible to snipe an unsuspecting enemy due to the fact that they have already turned against you and started firing before the bullet has even reached them? :expressionless:

The next tomb raider

I found Bioshock quite disappointing, got very, very bored with it quite quickly, not because of difficulty, but it just felt like I had no goal and was going no-where with the progression, everyone told me it was amazing so I played it and didn’t find it amazing like I was hoping.

EDIT: Despite currently programming an FPSRPG game engine, I don’t particularly like FPSRPGs, I get bored of them all. Just feels like stats remove the need of a good aim.

I am totally disappointment from FarCry. Because its graphics, and design is not logical. Boring and flat with a lot of grass. The shooting mechanics were nothing special, and it was difficult to use stealth. The level was so open ended it, again, got too boring too fast. That is the reason I hate that game.

Damn straight, just like i dug this one up. - :retard:
