Games That Are Truly Well Done

Lack of better Title.

HL1 I would find myself trying to peer/peek over a ramp or wall with railing to see if there were any enemies or to see them after hearing them but instead I would find myself peering over the top of my monitor.

Anybody else have such moments in games that were so well made that you would actually do something akin to that.

What is the purpose of this thread, exactly?

Going by the title because the description makes no sense to me, um, Quake?

I think OP’s talking about immersion?

We get it, people like good games.

^ unless you’re an old and dirty bastard

allmost all of hitman: blood money ( the best game ever)

No, Maxey is not me.

Well, I’m enjoying shift 2, at the moment that is. It’s been a while since a game has got me so fixated I lean into the corners with it :stuck_out_tongue:

In Portal 2, I was flying under an overhang once and actually (physically) ducked so that I wouldn’t hit my head on it. Then I thought for a minute and remembered that I am an idiot.

I ran into a box in Call of Pripyat the other day and it sounded like a gunshot and I pretty much ducked irl like I was getting shot at. This and almost pissing myself  .

Ah nice to know that theres more then just 2-3 games that have that Unique ability to make you forget its a game.

Solitare.

WTF! Solitaire sucks! Spider Solitaire is where its at

actually really screaming in amnesia… i guess

Oh yeah I forgot about that.

Do you have a mouse in your pocket?

Yeah I fucking hate good games

I will admit that Portal 2 jerked me off in the lighting department, gorgeous stuff

gta 4

whenever I see drunk people walking it reminds me of gta 4 drunk mode

they walk exactly the same
