That’s right.
It kind of does when applied to a person.

The classic Nintendo emulators are all 2d, free if you can find them and some have a function to capture the game state when you pause or shut down so the game isn’t lost if say, the pie in the kitchen needs to be dealt with.
I support this.
I have “The Longest Journey.” Point and clicker, it’s been lauded for a great story. Haven’t played far in it yet, but it seems interesting. And there’s always Sam and Max titles if you’re looking for a good introduction. I’d recommend the “Abe Lincoln” episode off Steam since it’s free and quite funny.
Seriously, play The Longest Journey now. It’s one of the best games I have ever played, point and click or not. The story is just incredible, the voice acting is amazing, and unlike many games, there aren’t any real “dead-points” where the game just becomes boring in between two interesting parts. The whole game is just amazing. And even if the graphics are outdated, it’s still beautiful.

He is more than human - he is Fongman.
I endorse it.
My wife loves Plants vs. Zombies. But beware: You oughta buy a new computer for her, because she won’t let you play. It’s that addictive.
Other games my wife plays: Chime, Zuma’s Revenge (style of games), Defense Grid (Tower Defense style of games), Dragon Age Origins, and now The Witcher 2.
why didn’t you just say so!
Within a Deep Forest fits the criteria perfectly, without going so dumb as being a point-and-click.
For the most part, the controls are:* Move Left
- Move Right
- Be Bouncier
- Be Less Bouncy
You can choose between harder and easier physics, and everything you need to know is explained succinctly in-game. It gradually gets more challenging but you totally move at your own pace. The music is totally relaxing, and it holds the title of being the only multi-difficulty game I’ve gone through in its entirety for each difficulty level. Which is to say, I played it, and then I played it again with the harder physics.
