Half-life 2?
Half Life 2 isn’t just the game of the decade. It is the greatest game ever made. Crane simulator comes in a close second though.
Nah, the Half-Life Complete Collection on Steam is the best game ever made.
Watching the entire series progress is as much of a fulfilling experience as playing the actual games.
We’re doing individual games I thought. Otherwise mine would be the orange box.
Well damn it.
Can’t believe some other more obvious games haven’t been metioned, Grand Theft Auto 4, Metal Gear Solid 3, 4 or Call Of Duty 4 anyone?
I also think my close second was def, Super Mario Galaxy, that game managed to restore my faith in the platforming genre, running around on planets is so much fun and offered up a whole new level of challenges. And third was Resident Evil 4, I loved this game, couldn’t get enough, I think the overhead shoulder aiming system was brillant, sackhead was almost as scary as the resi 1 dogs, and it was one of the only games that pushed the gamecube to its full potetional. Its such a shame this game had such a cliche and douchey ending. And don’t get me started on Resi 5… they took the worse parts of resi 4 and made a game out of it doh
inb4 someonerandom makes stupid joke about cutscene length.
“This is GAME of the decade, not MOVIE of the decade. lol imsosmart”
My top five:
- Half Life 2 (2004)
- Shenmue II (2001, DC original)
- Resident Evil 4 (2007, GC original)
- Beyond Good and Evil (2003)
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (2009)
Too hard to say, but not Half-Life 2 sorry, the first one was so much better in my opinion, doesn’t mean i didn’t like HL2 it’s just not the best game of the decade.
omg beyond good and evil, completly forgot about that one, a game I feel was so overlooked by many, such a shame as well (Same as another GC exclusive, that i cant remeber the name of for the life of me, was Eternal something I think, surrival horror, with an insainty meter, the more freaked your charchter the weirder stuff got for you the player from walking into a room on the ceiling, to it jokingly reseting the game, seriously why isnt this feature on more games??), it was different and I think the world it was set in certainly saw some of the best creativty in gaming in the last decade
And lollipopman, unfortunately as awesome as Enraged Rainbows On Wheels was, I’ll stick to your first vote
Eternal Darkness. Yeah, great game.
I’m done with that. I think I made my point.
A GTA game probably would be somewhere on my top ten list that doesn’t exist, but I doubt it would be GTA 4. Its good, but its not as good as the other GTA games. Also, if you are on a forum for a remake of HL 1, you will find that most people love HL2. And rightly so.
Yes you did.
God Hand. Or F.E.A.R. Don’t make me choose.:’(
Neither.
It’s either Half-Life 2 or Half-Life 2. Make your choice.
Well, giving a vote to Half-Life 2 is tempting, but I’m pretty partial to Half-Life 2 myself…
Hahahaha. The worst game ever, without a doubt.
Just bought that about a week ago. Was a pretty amazing game.
