G-man

the only enemy higher than the combine would be the puppet masters themselves, some kind of univesal auditor denying any one race supremacy or growth, through playing them off each other.

I think it’s pretty apparent that G-Man (or his employers) doesn’t want the Combine to get local teleportation technology. That seems to be what all the Half-Life 2 games are about anyway.

In Half-Life 2, Breen is about to deliver this teleportation technology to the Combine, G-Man gets Gordon and shit hits the fan.
Episode One and Two both seem to point at a big climax at the Borealis in Episode Three, where the Combine, once again, must not get their hands on local teleportation techonology.

yes but through out ep1+2 your out of the gmans influence and at that at the end of halflife 2 Breen says your conract is open to any offer and then gman himself says hes had offers that he wouldnt normally consider, under normal circumanstances. Diffrent enough for the vorts to want to interfere.
so I dont think we can believe he has such wholesome ideals.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Valve went through these threads and excluded as many of these theories as they can just so no one could ever predict what they have planned

I agree, and here is the rub. The g-man spoke of his employers a couple of times. Like interloperx, I am quite keen on learning more about them, who/what/where they are and what they do. What is their relationship to the combine, earth xen, the vorts and the nilianth. If, like interloper says, they specifically do not want the combine to get teleport tech, why? It has been said before by several folks in the forum that maybe the g-mans employers are fighting the combine on a different world. Maybe the employers are humans from a far flung future? Ah the horror of being forced to speculate.

Whut heez ed bout stuff

And finally, not a cockroach anymore!!!

Word to the wise: that’s because you’re double and triple-posting, which is frowned upon round these parts.

Please forgive my youthful enthusiasm for a milestone taken from me by the forum crash

Says you.

I see nothing about triple posting. :stuck_out_tongue:

The G-Man is the blue spy ! That explains the suit and the ability to dissapear !!!

I am playing back through HL2 and all the episodes just so I can carefully look at every aspect of them. I just went through that red boxcar with the Vort watching Gman-vision (Which I previously have mentioned) and as i left the car the Vort said:
“We both serve the same Mystic(inaudible)”
The end of the word was inaudible because the human guy was opening the boxcar door.

He says “we serve the same mystery.” They sway it al the time when you just stand around not doing anything.

They serve the gman too, but in ep1, gman try to take gordon away away, so vort get piss off, and lock gman up.

I don’t think they serve the G-Man. The Vorts just say “wise things” everytime you wait long enough… They are probably refering to Gordon.

[COLOR=‘Red’]^^What he said. If you have something to add, edit it into your previous post rather than double posting.

I think G-man is a advisor that has taken the form of a human (A old government agent)

G-man is a spy from TF2. He dosn’t teleport, he turns invisable. and the reason no one attacks him is because he has a disguise on. Also have you noticed that the spy has a tick to brush off his suit and ajust his tie?
/thread :freeman:
EDIT  ang it, loserman said it befor me…

why do all the TFags ejaculate their fanboy hormones over everything?

In the failed hope that maybe it will drive alyx out of the game and and replace her with adrian shepard in pink speedos. Then, if i remember the last forum, something happens with the g-man(topic) and some bears and then a huge “portal” will open. Oh god please release black mesa soon. My need for new half-life is driving me insane:fffuuu:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
