G-Man dosent Stand for anything when will you guys drop this it says so in Raising the bar… i think like what megiddo said is true… he is a ball of energy/knoledge that is only in the form on human to make it easyer on gordon to be his pawn… and to also increase the mystery… and another thing, i dont want valve to reavel anything about g-man till the end of the franchise cause thats one of the best parts… or reaveal bits and peices slowly and then the rest at the end

I’d like to say three things:

  1. I’m surprised no one mentioned the end of HL2 where Breen tells Gordon his contract is open to the highest bidder. Maybe Breen tried to buy Gordon?

  2. InterloperX said Kleiner wanted to destroy the Borealis. That’s not true. Eli is the one who wanted to destroy it, Kleiner wanted to use it. Eli didn’t want to see another Black Mesa incident occur.

  3. Why does G-Man remind me slightly of Michael Jackson?

I think the G-Man is the person who watches over Gordon and ensures his safety, in Half Life 2 right before the citadel blows up he teleports Gordon to safety, AND if you lidten to the in game characters he tried to warn Eli about “unforseen consequences” but like Eli said, “I went on with the test anyway” so maybe the G man is the person trying to protect Gordon and save the earth from destruction
