“So, wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up, and git r done!”
The G-Man is the council representative from X-Com. In his dealings with X-Com, however, he uses a voice disguiser and speaks more normally.
He’s also that overseer guy from Dead Space 2.
He’s Also Everybody from Real Life.
off Topic: i talk to laidlaw and he told me he havent played BM yet.
¨I’m working on Dota 2–have been on that for a couple years. Haven’t played Black Mesa yet–waiting till it is on Steam. It looks great!¨

The G-Man is a modern day time streamer for the Sarafan priesthood. And his employer is the Elder God, the taker of souls.
Does that mean we’ll get to overkill him again?
I know I’m more than likely not the first one who has come to this realization, but after having finished watching Fringe, I can’t help but to think that the G-man is pretty much an Observer of Half-Life universe. Not 100% the same, but similar. Ideas?
He has to much of a hand in things to just be an observer. He caused the resonance cascade, remember?
He’s like a September. Or something. I don’t know.
What?
Yeah, you know, like August, September, Observer, November…
I don’t know about that cause I haven’t finished watching that show, but I do know that the sandwich that observer makes in like the third or fourth episode is really damn tasty.
Does dumping buttloads of spicy stuff onto your sandwich count as tasty?
Only if your tastebuds are as numb as mine But I cut the seeds out of the jalapenos anyway, cause that would be just more pain than flavor lol.
Anyway…what were we talking about? G-man? Oh yeah. He definitely does interfere a lot. Besides the cascade, he talks with scientists about…something, he directly manipulates at least one human’s life on multiple occasions in order to use his skills (and kills him if he rejects this), he gives information out to the Combine/Breen about Gordon (or lets it slip at least), and the vortigaunts hint that he might be manipulating them as well, though they might just be waxing philosophical.
I meant that he might be a descendant of humanity from the future and he and his employers are a race similar to Fringe’s Observers, they live outside of time and do whatever **** to alter history to their liking.
G-man is actually Azian Vance after getting caught in the resonance cascade.
I wonder why first causing a Cascade and then trying to fix it by another person!
Maybe he searches somebody to replace him and see if he’s up for the job!
I think the G-man (or his employers) are working against the Combine. Their plan was to cause the Combine to establish themselves here, so that Gordon (with some help) can take them out, which would destabilize their inter-dimensional empire.
The Resonance Cascade and killing the Nihilanth were all just a ploy to get their attention, so they’d come to Earth.
