Where is that file? I’ve been looking for it forever.
I have a couple good ones, both related to staring at ancillary characters and waiting. Stare at a marine long enough in Halo 3, and he’ll say: “A staring contest? You’re on.”
A bit more creepy was what happened when I stared at an Elite for long enough: “If you gaze at me much longer, we might as well exchange fluids!”
“Sometimes i dream about cheese” is actually used in the game.
During Citizen One and all the final chapters of the game, you can press E to make small conversation with your rebel buddies. it usually consists of simple random comment from the person you clicked on and a randomly picked response from someone else in your team.
“Sometimes i think about cheese”
“You and me both, brother!”
“i can’t remember the last time i took a shower.”
“i’d keep that to myself if i were you.”
Each line is picked at random and both male and female characters say the same lines. The second line is also picked at random and is always a direct response to the first phrase. You can only ‘talk’ to each citizen once per map so it might be a while before you hear anyone talk about cheese. Lines that WEREN’T used in the game are all those spoken by the citizens once Freeman dies. Phrases like, “Dibs on the suit!”, would have been priceless had they not removed them from the game. i guess they wanted to keep those chapter a little more serious.
