I like the way he uses noclip. It sort of switches things up from regular gameplay.

Freeman’s Mind is awesome, but it’s irritating when he starts sounding less like a physicist, and more like an outside player who’s detached from the story…
He’s just showing that his version of Freeman doesn’t really give a fuck about what’s happening around him. As he stated in this one, he’s just going to shoot anything and everything.
I think what he means is that he’s not in character 100% of the time. I’ll admit, it gets to me too. Not that bad though.
Still a little disengaging, i should say. His early episodes had him rationalizing-out jump-puzzles and establishing slight backstory, all while reacting realistically to hazards and story events.
‘I’m not helping anything’ makes him sound like a douche playing a game.
I would have never known it was uploaded, his site hasn’t been updated yet. I feel it would be better if acted a little more like an MIT graduate sometimes.

you can climb up there, but it’s too short &/or there’s a clip in the way, so he used noclip. same thing with climbing the angled pipes.
it’s most likely a player clip, I’ve seen tighter spaces in goldsrc games.
I know a kid who’s attending MIT. He’s of the “never gives a fuck” variety. He’s been drinking since he was twelve, never had a good parental figure. Smart as all get out, though.
