Freeman didn't age

OK, at the end of HL1 Gman puts Gordon:freeman:into stasis or whatever, and keeps him in it until the events of HL2, now, the hl2 world is set 20 years ahead, and freeman hasn’t aged or changed, but his friends have, Eli says that he (Gordon) hasn’t changed a bit. but what is really weird is that they didn’t freak out or anything, i mean it’s 20 years later, and he’s still 27 kinda. you’d think they would have at least battered an eyelash at this fact.

it’s also safe to presume that Gordon most likely met Eli’s wife and Alyx back at black mesa at some point, cause they’re friends.
thats crazy lol, Gordon met Alyx, a pooping crying baby, then 1 month later, Booom, aliens, then Boom 20 years later and he meets her again, as 1 fine piece of a…:jizz:… anyway i thought i’d just point this fact out.

NO WHEY

You kind of answered your own–assumed–question. He was in stasis. He can’t age because, due to the stasis, his entire body is ‘suspended’ in time; ergo, he hasn’t physically aged at all.

Eli knows about the gman, alyx never saw him before, and the others possibly knew about the gman too.

In all reality, Gordon and the GMan are working together. Gordon gave the GMan $50 bucks to put him in stasis for a few years, simply so Gordon wouldn’t have to wait forever to be able to get down with Alyx. The deal was for 18 years, just to make it legal, but the GMan bought some really good weed with Gordon’s $50 and forgot to bring him out of stasis until 20 years had passed. Needless to say, Gordon got $10 back.

 HAHAHA Nice, that about sums it up lol

I see a troll attempt here.

Also:

  • HL2: Black Mesa East chapter, a dialogue line of Eli Vance implies that Gordon surely knew Azian, but no Alyx.

I always found it amusing in HL2 when (I think it was Eli?) hinted at Alyx and Gordon getting together after Kleiner mentioned procreation during his public service announcements.
Some father :stuck_out_tongue:

“An old man couldn’t have grandchildren?” or something like that?

“Can’t blame an old man for wanting grandkids?”
I think they were secretly hinting towards a sex scene in ep3. That’s why it’s taking so long.

:jizz:

I dont care how good of a person Gordon is I bet that would be pretty weird saying your daughter and co-worker should have sex

Only speculating: The relationship between Gordon and Eli could be closer than a co-workers - they can be great friends, that knew each other a long time ago. Kleiner wasn’t one of Gordon’s teachers on college? Probably, Eli doesn’t mind Gordon and Alyx being together, as everyone notice how Alyx behaves when Gordon is near, or when Eli makes jokes about it.

I love battering eyelashes

I’ve heard rumours that it was actually a game, HL was.

They made Alyx presumably attracted to Gordon to give all of the nerds who play the games a fleeting chance at romance.

I know some people irl who are in their 50s but looks like their in their 30s. I guess G-man kept them for testing purposes as well. :retard:

well i think Eli knew a little bit about what was going on. because at the end of episode 2 Eli tells Gordon “You know who im talking about” referring to g-man in the scene were hes on the couch. implying that he knows that g-man is intereacting with Gordon. and if Eli knows g-man and knows G-man knows Gordon, then im pretty sure he wouldn’t put it past G-man to have put Gordon in stasis. im probably half right about this lol.

That brings up another questions. How does Eli know that G-man can put people in stasis?

lol oh i didn’t think about that. that’s true. well if Eli knew G-man, its unclear weather Eli knew of G-mans abilities. but judging from the tone of the conversation brought up by Eli in my opinion i think Eli knew maybe a little bit about what g-man was
