Well he did tell him to “Prepare for unforeseen consequences” so I guess that would give him a relative insight into his abilities. Although, he does know that G-man has the power to manipulate, so there’s really no telling, I suppose, as to how much Eli knows about G-man.
yea im pretty unsure about that too. i realy wanna know who or what he is. i would just be satisfied with just knowing his real name in the rest of the story
People may cover it up saying its the story but that is exactly why they did it
Did you not notice that nobody was surprised to see Gordon at all? Everyone knew Gordon was “coming back”, so it’s safe to say they knew the situation more than we can possibly appreciate, so yeah, it’s not at all surprising that Eli WASN’T surprised Gordon hadn’t aged. He probably knew (almost) everything about it.
So you’re saying everybody knew Gordon Freeman was coming, EVEN THOUGH several rebels don’t even know who he is… NOONE knew Gordon Freeman was coming until the teleportation incident, let alone who he was. The only people that weren’t surprised were the people that don’t know him.
Kleiner knew full well Gordon was “coming back”, he just didn’t know when.
Obviously Barney knew too. And when I said everybody, clearly I meant it in a hyperbolic sense. Kleiner and Barney knew, all the vorts knew, I’m certain Eli, Alyx and Mossman would have known. Am I the only one who thinks that much is fundamentally apparent?
Three-way?
:fffuuu:
Alyx almost definitely didn’t know, seeing as Eli sent her to get tea so he could talk to freeman.
I also find it wierd that Eli would hint at such a thing. Maybe he’s just ‘that kind’ of dad. I know if I had a daughter I’d never hint at anything like that and, more than likely, would try to get her to avoid it at all costs.
But really, Alyx’s attraction to Gordon is strange too. I mean, he never ONCE showed a hint of personality and she’s head over heels for him. Even if you take into account Freeman’s personality in Freeman’s Mind I still don’t understand why Alyx would like him, seeing how he’s kind of an asshole. But I digress.
You know that freeman’s mind has nothing to do with the actual story of the game, right?
Well, he did help try to break Eli out of Nova Prospekt, then into the Citadel to rescue Eli & her, as well as confront Dr. Breen. I guess she finds heroics sexy. :freeman:
^this, and the possibility that Alyx grew listening to Eli’s stories about Gordon fighting almost alone hordes of aliens and HECUs. I guess that had an greater impact on her when she was a kid. But this impact didn’t last long, as saw when Gordon first meets Alyx. “Gordon Freeman I suppose”, could imply that Alyx though Gordon wasn’t a fighter when saw he getting pwned by metrocops.
They’re trying to make The Witcher 2, Mass Effect and Dragon Age look like the smurfs :3
and also freamonds has the same goatie and glasses lol so he probably was in a giant ice cube frozen in xen from the g manne
I barely understand what you just said, but presumably a slow-teleport was involved, like the one where Alyx & Gordon teleported from Nova Prospekt to Kleiners lab a week later, but no time passed for them. No “giant ice cube” necessary.
I think a giant ice cube would be cooler
@OP
So basically…the sub-plot of the story is…the sub-plot of the story
this is because eli know what the G-man did, he refers to him as
‘our mutral friend’
Holy fuck, man, I totally shat bricks.
Also, plagiarism.
