You’re all doing the Haiku wrong.
Haiku ideally must include some sort of weather or indication of season.
Fuji no kaze ya ōgi ni nosete Mesa miyage
But none of this changes the fact that Haikus are fucking gay.
When I lived in Japan I taught a group of old women who spent all their time writing Haiku and they could not resist telling me the endless rules behind Haiku.
Since you are all failing I suggest we close this gay thread with all it’s failings of poetry.
Haikus are pretty flexible, actually. They don’t need to stick to the 5-7-5 even. They can be 3-5-3 even. There’s a good explanation on wikipedia about them. Here’s mine:
I check once a year
This mod will never release
Disorganization sucks
Get people’s hopes up
Design some levels and wait
Releasing nothing
This mod is the rain
It falls forever, never stops
We drown in our hopes
Came up with a scam
Design some cool stuff, show off
Get jobs based on squat
“Let’s keep showing off!”
“We’ve got nothing to release!”
“After seven years?”

I believe it is only two, but the real issue is that your second line is only 6 syllables… Good stuff though. 
If English isn’t your first language then this is understandable.
If English is your first language then this is very worrying.
I can see why you can say that idea isn’t 2 syllables. i-de-a or i-dea. It’s officially 2 syllables I think though .
Looked up idea on three dictionary sites including Merriam-Webster and Oxford, and all seem to indicate that it indeed has three syllables.
