The helmet makes sense in that environment but what the fuck is up with Alyx. That’s not Alyx, that’s a completely different face. They used the official GMan model but not Alyx’s? I don’t get it.
I like the climbing mechanic and possibility of returning to Xen, and it was animated very well. I don’t know why they didn’t use the real Alyx either.

Whoa, sans that odd-looking Alyx face, I’m beyond impressed. I especailly liked the rendition of Xen, dear God.
Y’know, you tend to point this stuff out a lot, and sometimes I’m not sure if it’s legitimate concern, or if you just want to see something to bitch about. The face wasn’t at all like official Alyx, sure, but it seemed a lot like some of the concept art I’ve seen.
While I agree that Ramirezoid usually goes off on tangents that have little to do with the subject in hand (that’s his thing - and that’s why we love him -?-), Alyx’s model here IS freaking awful, and not because she is whiter, but because she doesn’t look anything like the actual Alyx.

Well, Chell was in stasis ( interestingly, Valve seems to regularly use that “was in stasis” thing , like Bethesda using a prisoner thing ) for, minimum 20 years, so you would expect her skin to get a little pale…

Why is Alyx so pale? She’s part African American and she was dark skinned in HL2. It’s nitpicking but very inconsistent. Even facially, it looks nothing like her whatsoever.
Anyways, neat video but it sucks reminding us that we’re probably never going to see HL3.
