Yea and look at his eyes! Defiantly not human that’s for sure!
ep3 is being pushed back because valve realized how fucking retarded their fanbase is.
OP just has too much time on his hands.
He appears to be wobbling, but he’s not falling down.
You’re probably trolling, but in the case that you aren’t, how does that makes absolutely any sense whatsoever? Especially seeing as there is absolutely no reason to believe ep3 has been pushed back.
It was mainly sarcasm-based but might actually be true ;P. If Valve had a “perfect” idea for Ep3 and fans figured it out along the way then it is possible that they’ve changed some stuff and therefore postponed the release…
When Half-Life 2 was leaked & thousands of people downloaded it they didn’t change the main plot points, such as the experimental teleport failure, that Mossman was a traitor, or that in Nova Prospekt Gordon & Alyx were stuck in the slow teleport for a week. There’s no way in hell they’d rewrite something over a few theories posted on some random forums.
You’d think…
Why is this thread still alive?
Yes, I do think. That’s one of our defining differences.
-snip-
The telekinetic beams thing is interesting, though. Why doesn’t the adviser pay any attention to them?
Also, do the beams actually touch him, but not have any effect?
This is the stupidest thing I ever read about Eli … =/
Everyone knows that Eli is an antlion grub!
^ LOL
I always bellived that he was a big momma…
Yep. Because the final episode of the current plotline is not more important at all. Besides, I said that it’s just a theory, not a fact which I am certain of. For a “thinker” you don’t use your brain too often.
I do not want to interfere with your troll fight guys, but YARO how is a plot dénouement NOT important for the current plot LINE?
IMO Gman is so alien, both because he probably is from a different society and has no regular sense for time anymore that emotional attachements are meaningless to him. If you have lived as “long” as him you have seen friends turn on each other (thats why he does not think the vorts are Gordon’s friends, because Gordon basically genocided half of the remaining vort population). Also a sense for biological ancestory is lost when you’ve travelled back and forth in the time-space continuum. And Elis brains looked pretty human to me. So… Yeah.
Sarcasm, man, sarcasm…
All the more reason it shouldn’t be changed. If they went through all the time and effort to make the ending good, that’s all the more reason not to change it. It’s better to release a great ending that a few people predicted than a crap ending that thousands will see.
And I’m telling you something I am certain of.
So you are saying they initially had to give him up and let him down, while they gave Gordon and Alyx the run around and after finally killing Dr. Vance they deserted Gordon?
