Evolution vs Creation

I didn’t mock you. Once again, you’re the one antagonizing people here and then complaining that you’re getting shit back for it. Sorry, but it don’t work that way, buddy. You’ve given us lie after lie after lie and then when we try to call you on something, you laugh at us and claim we’re throwing sand in your face.

No dice, AntiBeast. Grow up and, if you want to talk maturely about the subject and not devolve into useless fiction, then perhaps you might learn something.

Until that time, adios. And don’t let the Door hit ya. [COLOR=‘Black’]Unless he wants to.

Never said you did, further proof that you dont actually read anything I write. You just skim for key words so you know what automated responses you can give me.

If you have anything to say, say it quickly before my buddy arrives. If you are lucky, i may actually read it.

Oh, sorry for offending you so much… Its difficult for me because I am being truthful but you get so angry when I do… but then you tell me you dont want lies either… but if you seriously dont want the truth then…

Im sorry fella… By your continuous rapid responses I have observed that you don’t spend all day on the black mesa forums, and its clear that you are very outgoing and have what some, probably a minority of people, call a “real life”. What ever that means. I hope by this, we can become friends again. And I truly believe that through all of this “debating” that one of us will actually change our beliefs.

Enjoy your evening. Im going to go to a different forum and spend my night there until i pass out. Because there really isnt much else in life really.

Except that no Biblical prophecies have come to pass except for self-fulfilling ones or ones written after the fact.

Also, to AntiBeast, if you want to continue to lie about me and everyone else here to make you feel better about yourself, that’s your prerogative. It still won’t make you correct.

Religion is our first and worst attempt at explaining the universe.

Amazing…

Antibeast… You have completely ignored my post. I AM adressing what you posted, and once again, you skate on by it. No doubt you are feeling swarmed… Well, that sort of thing does happen in group debates sometimes. BTW, why do you seem to post like you are a martyr of some sort? Sorry mate, it just seems that way.

Could you repost this in the Christian thread? What does this have to do with Evolution or creationism? (Just sayin’)

Sorry, but no. The Book of Isaiah was not penned in the 8th Century BC. And the Book itself was penned by several people. It was combined into a single book later.

Can you be more specific?

Israel has been around for a lot longer than 1948. Since, like, the 2nd century BC.

That’s kind of a given when you go in and take land from people that are living there already.

I would like to see more specifics about these. But not in this thread.

Hmmm Both of you leaving at the same time…

Ok. BTW, Why did you refer to me as he? that is rather rude I think…

Besides, it is off topic to the thread.

I see Anti-beast still hasn’t addressed the answer provided to him

So in one post you’re saying that man can’t see into the future, but that he also can?

Prophecy has occurred often enough in history to indicate that sometimes people can see glimpses into the future, usually in dreams. There was an interview I read with a guy who makes predictions on a regular basis (tho i forget his name). he has a website where he has someone take a picture of him holding a painting of his “vision” by the scrolling date/time in times square, and usually it comes true. He predicted 9/11, and he’s not the only one today who does this, I’m certain.

Just sayin’, there is truth to such phenomenon… but it doesn’t at all mean there’s a big bearded god in heaven, and all that King james biblical theology has any merit beyond the veil of space-time.

just my opinion though, but i try to read as much on such things as i can before i reach a conclusion. It’s a shaky realm of quantum mechanics that doesn’t have enough physical evidence. But there are genetic patterns of thought in the human brain, which accounts for people seeing the same things across the globe.

but that’s offtopic so I’ll shut up now :zip:

Or it could be that people make predictions all the time. Even with a 99.999% error rate, the 0.001% of the time that someone makes an accurate prediction, they’re looked upon as having some sort of mystical power.

As for someone who makes these kinds of predictions on a regular basis, well, I’m going to have to see some proof that he’s not just pissing in the wind and then pointing to only the predictions that actually came true.

Well, you can try to google him if you want. I try to avoid words like “mystical” though, since that has a lot of baggage. Schizophrenics for example, do not operate at random, upon closer inspection. There are familiar patterns of thought they often follow, accounting for possible predictions, and “Demonic possession.” Quantum logic, seems to be the method to such madness.

Just so… interesting I think.

In the Evo VS Creation site that I was in, we had a rule. One thing addressed at a time, if as person was dodging and dancing. Amazing how when that is introduced, the throwing up smoke screens stops PDQ. Just sayin…

Give him some time. What with his so-called “life” and all…

Oh, I am in no rush - Having fun digging out in the garden - if it can be called that - digging in some Japanese Dragon Maples and such. Lots of work, but worth it. They look awesome next to the Asian style arbour.

Evolution doesn’t strife to get rid of all the flaws in species, it just happens, it’s called survival of the fittest.
Anyway, these flaws aren’t actually flaws, we’ve survived this long with them, after all, but it’s from a DESIGN PERSPECTIVE that they’re flaws.

A comparison would be if the inventor of the Abrams M1 tank had put the gas tank on the outside of the tank, pretty stupid design, no?

None of us are scientists, you can’t expect of us to explain the theory of evolution to you in it’s full context, it’s something most people spend their entire lives studying, although to me it seems like you don’t want to understand. You read our responses, then find something else you have misunderstood about evolution, read our response to that, find something else, etc.
And yes, science is constantly changing, you’d have to be fucking daft not to know that. You provided a perfect example of that yourself, with that lemur fossil.

What? Are you talking about Rain Man again? You don’t deny the existence of Autism, do you? And yes, people who have larger brain capabilities than us most likely aren’t normal, in the sense that they’re smarter than the average person. Not being normal isn’t necessarily a bad thing, you know…

And what are we supposed to do with this link? The only thing I’m getting out of it is an impression that you outright deny science, which would be the most moronic thing to do ever.
After all, the same scientific progress that has gotten us the theory of evolution has gotten us the theory of gravity and the theory of relativity, and not only that, but also hybrid cars, flat-screen LED television, jetplanes, cellphones, computers and last but not least, the internet. And those are only a few examples.

But evolution… nah man, that one I ain’t buying. They must be wrong on that one…

I turned against anything related to God because I realized that none of it made any sense. The Bible is one of the most paradox-and contradiction-ridden works ever. I’d be happy to provide examples.

No, I haven’t read the Bible from back to back. I tried, though, but it helped me realize that it was bullshit, from cover to cover.

Because the world circle was the word used in the Bible excerpt that you showed us to prove that Isaiah or whoever said the Earth was round :retard:
And if he didn’t write that it was a sphere, why was there anything special to it?

You know, coincidences exist, whether you like it or not.
https://www.cracked.com/article_18421_6-insane-coincidences-you-wont-believe-actually-happened.html
Yeah, I know that’s a pretty shitty site to use as a source, but the coincidences it list have all happened. And I’d say they are way more spectacular than your 1914 prediction, which I still don’t get.

Please put some perspective on what you say:
Have you yourself thought outside the “I’m right and everything else is bullshit” way of thinking, while reading our responses in this thread?

Yeah, everybody always ask God for help, but it seems like it’s always science that gets the job done.
Vaccines and stuff… yeah fuck that and fuck those scientists who think they know what they’re doing.

Over and out.

It’s really ironic, don’t you all think, that we are sitting in front of one of the most valued products of scientific progress, the very proof that science works, and are discussing (some of us even denying) the value of science, using this very product of science to do so.

This thread makes my blood boil. People should not be allowed to be this ignorant.

Seconded. It’s like meeting a child who’s completely capable of learning to read but refuses to do it.

Oh yeah, but to you a theory is something solid and worth believing (blindly of course)

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
