Episode 3 Discussion and Information.

My theories on the Ep3 storyline:

After the death of Eli, Alyx and Gordon escape from combine forces closing in and go into hiding in the arctic.
The combine sends eyebots all over the world and eventally finds them.
In the meantime, Gordon is almost killed by an enormous Bullsquid living in a frozen cave.
Then Alyx and Gordon escape the combine yet again, but they each go separate ways.
Alyx and Barney travel to a city where Kleiner is in charge and are greeted warmly.
Only Kleiner has betrayed them to the combine and both Barney and Alyx are captured.
Barney is placed in suspended animation and is sent to the new citidel being built.
So Gordon had gone to a hidden university where one of his college professors coaches him in “the way” and Gordon learns some special mediation and martial arts techniques.
Gordon also learns that Alyx is his sister.
He suddenly receives an encoded radio message that Alyx and Barney are in trouble and so he rushes to rescue them.
When he gets to Kleiner’s city, he finds out that it was a trap and Alxy and Barney were the bait.
There is a long duel between the G-Man and Gordon at the end of which, his only remaining weapon, Gordon’s crowbar, is knocked out of Gordon’s hand and falls down a long ventilation shaft.
Then G-Man reveals that he is actually Gordon’s father and Gordon then screams “Noooooooo!” and jumps down the ventilation shaft after his crowbar.
He somehow survives the fall and shortly after, Alyx, Kleiner (who pulls a Mossman and switches sides again) and Dog manage to rescue him.

Stay tuned for the exciting conclusion in Episode 4 where Gordon rescues Barney and then teddy-bear creatures from Xen help Barney, Alyx, Kleiner and Dog to destroy the partly-assembled citadel while Gordon faces off with G-Man who still claims to be Gordon’s father.

WHAT?? No! I didn’t rip this off from Star Wars!

My theory about Ep3: it will be feckin’ awesome!

I’ve decided to start adding people who post stupid theories to my ignore list.

As stupid as this is, I still lol’d.

I was actually worried for his mental health until my eyes wandered down to this line;

My theory about ep3 is… i don’t have any. I might find my self flying in a helicopter to the north, beating the living **** out of combine all over again. We get to see the borealis up close. We go onboard the ship find some weird tech (maybe another teleporter) that might dig our tombs (7 hour war) once again. We find Judith dead or something. The combine want to make use of the tech to reach their homeworld. As they try we kick their asses all over borealis, blow up the damn thing an E.T. goes home. and we all live happily ever after. G-man shows up saying bla bla bla "we’ll see about that… " THE END we wait for HL 3 or 4 :stuck_out_tongue:

seriously, learn to write, no one is going to read that

My theory is that it will have everything Valve has shown us it will have- The borealis, a helicopter, and a deaf character.

I hope it will have Zombie Mossman, but that might just be me.

I wrote my statement a little 2 fast. Oh, have i mentioned i don’t have a theory about ep3. Yes i have. You don’t have to read my opinions if you don’t understand the word i write. I’m not american australian or british so don’t get 2 hard on me. At least i’m trying.

Back to the thread: I remember that Eli in ep2 said that we have to destroy whatever tech that ship holds. When i looked the art from ep3, the borealis was used by the combine in some way. The combine knew about borealis for a long time. Dr. Breen or Judith must have found the ship when working together probably before hl2. That means that the combine were allready using the tech or constructing something much more threatening against humanity. I’m almost certain that ep3 will involve a search and destroy mission. I sure hope so :stuck_out_tongue: race against time is always breathtaking.

You’re obviously not trying if you don’t use the Enter button every once in a while, and use numbers in stead of words.

Numbers are needed if i want to write shorter posts. I put them where they should be. I won’t write episode one, episode two not even half life three or half life four every time i feel like posting something like that. Why should i do that anyway? People here aren’t stupid and they know what i’m writing about.

[Enter] is not ment to be clicked every fourth or fifth line you write. I click it when i change the subject like:

Hi,

or

See you later.

I click [enter] when i want to add something to my post like:

New heading

or.

www. “links”…

what else do you use it for?

It’s simple fact. People won’t have to read whole damn pages to find other posts they are looking for. The shorter my posts are less reading and less confusion.

I meant where you use 2 in stead of too, or to, or something. [enter]
And using Enter makes your posts much more readable, in stead of being just a big block of text.[enter]
[enter]
Oh and, USE THE EDIT BUTTON, FGT.

[COLOR=‘Lime’]I don’t write blocks  Blocks are like at least 10 lines of text and nothing written that makes sense to anyone. I’m still trying 2 get 2 line 10 without the [enter] key.

No luck so far.

:mono:

I want to see what happened after Eli death no one but Alyx Dog and Gordon knows about that? Gordon and Alyx get into the helicopter and what happens with Eli`s body? will prepare his funeral?

Yes, we’ll spend half of Episode 3 at a proper funeral for Eli, giving a eulogy in which we say nothing. Then the rest of the time will be spent in an intense emotional situation with Alyx, attempting to comfort her and help her through the trauma using silence :retard:
