But I guess after time, you get used to it.

I find these interviews good because, I am deaf, but not severely. I wasn’t born deaf, but I think it’s good that VALVe are trying to reach out to a new target audience.

Sign language is something that is hard to learn, I can’t sign anyway. Don’t want to.
They’re doing the American sign language, not BSL (British Sign Language).

EDIT: What language was that text on that building near where Alyx was double impaled? Was it Polish? Or Russian? Because if thats the case then i would say that we’re going to Siberia.

Perhaps we’ll have Barney as a sidekick in Ep3 rather than Alyx.

I know that every1 loves Alyx, but really dragging her off to the Borealis after her father has been killed is rather inhumane lol.

Besides we haven’t seen Barney since he left on the train. I loved his wisecracks during Half-Life 2 - ‘headhumpers’ and telling you to say to Dr. Breen ‘FU-- You’

So, are we going to meet Alyx’s ex-boyfriend?
I guess he turned to be a super-combine 007, and when Gordon kills him in a final battle (like Borealis reactor exploding), he is going to take Alyx with him.
Since Alyx transmmited G-Man’s messenge to Eli, I have am thinking if she is the new pawn of the interestelar bussiness man, because, if that is true, she may do with Borealis something similar to what Gordon did on Black Mesa.

Back on the topic: with the arrival of the ex-boyfriend, Alyx would fell herself safe enough to choose the wrong decision, mainly motivated emotionaly. When this happens, Gordon may be forced to choose between save Alyx or complete his objective on Borealis, whatever it is. The ex-boyfriend could be somewhat attached to the, ah, main mechanism (the reactor, the portal, whatever), and to save the world he would die by the hands of Gordon or Alyx.

i really cannot believe or understand what most of you guys are saying :stuck_out_tongue: I know a great program that helps improve skills for writing cohesive and concise writing so that proper communication can flourish.

Haha but seriously. This new guy, the ex, probably won’t play that big of a role in Ep3. Nothing that will be an important cog in the story.
