Episode 3 Discussion and Information.

It’s a fictionalized Eastern-European amalgam. Also, pre-release the number of cities was at least 50, but that may or may-not still be the case.

I supposed it was Ukraine because one of the rebel hideouts is named Odessa.

Actually it’s called New Little Odessa.

Thanks. I only remembered the Odessa part. Because it’s identical with the name of a coast town in Ukraine. That’s what made me think maybe Half-Life 2 was playing there.

My theory is that you go up north, shot down, blah blah blah, An attack from the leader of the Xenians(forgot name) is somehow resurected and kills Alyx(this time 4 real) leaving you to get to the borealis before the combine. Find G-man there, along with Dr Breen (heavily guarded) then cuts off unexpectedly like the last games in the half life series, making us wait for the ever-lasting series of the sci fi game half life, to come to a conclusion. Just think that all of this came from pushing a freaking meteorite into a generator with lazers?

lol WHAT IF- Gordon falls asleep fro the first time in 20 years, Alyx wakes him up, tells him that theyr at theborealis, no confronation of the combine whatsoever? LOL IM GOING TO FREAKIN KILL MESELF IT THATS THE CASE

LOL, what if… you didn’t double post and used correct spelling and grammar :expressionless:

uh yea why not then Adorian Sheppord comes

welcome good troll, the exit door is located to your right.

Well, I’m trying to approach the idea for the story of episode from a point of view where the gman is controlling your actions. I am not very good at predicting events, but I cant be more wrong than some posts I’ve seen here ^^. Now my guess is that, Gordon (and Alyx) will want to honor Eli’s last will and destroy the borealis ( besides, Gordon seems to have a little more common sense than Kleiner ) but what will the gman want? We can say he’s a man who wants only power, therefore, he will try to force you to USE the borealis, attempting to convince you its the right thing to do, as the combine may never be stopped without it. Alyx could intervene ( with help from a few vortigaunts, perhaps ) and try to keep you shielded from the gman’s treacherous tongue, which could bring to her death. I inevitably believe in conflict with the gman, everything points to it, even if Alyx survives, the ship and the combine are destroyed, do you think Gordon would enjoy getting put into stasis and leaving Alyx behind? The only problem with my hypothesis is that the gman is referred to ( only as ) ’ our mutual friend ’ so, maybe Gordon can’t really hurt him for some vague reason… But, we shall see, shan’t we?

I don’t thin k that G-Man will ever be an enemy, but thaat later in the game he will need to your help to defend him or something like that.

Defend him?

He’s a bloody immortal God in the Half Life world.

You’re all wrong, in episode 3 you play as the g-man and your only weapon is a horrible grasp of the english language

Ok since this is either going to be Half-Life 3 or Half-Life Episode 3, There should be three story ways you could play, such as you could play as either Alyx, Freeman, or Gman, but in the end it ends the same. Alyx and Freeman get into a pods and get shot into the area were they are keeping Gman, but in the flight they get separted and have to find each other, to get to gman. But when you play as Gman you defend your area or homeland from rebels.

Nope.

O come on thats a great idea.

It isn’t.

It’s mind-numbingly bad.

That’s a bad idea and you should feel bad!

If you really think this would fit into Half-Life, then you have never EVER played half life. ever.
