How did this thread become a 9/11 truth thread anyway? And also, why are people still using the argument that it looked like a controlled demolition? That is not only impossible by highly illogical.
Right now, I’m very unimpressed with Obama. I have yet to see anything good that he’s accomplished. Though maybe he did do things that bring “Hope” (see what I did there?), but since that doesn’t make eye catching stories, all I see is “OMG Obama’s Gonna’ Pull Da Plug on Gramma!!!”
Obama has good intentions, but it’s easier to talk than to take action. It seems like he’s hellbent on being friendly to the conservatives (you know, the ones that got us into this mess)when it’s both unnecessary and harmful.
If by the time his presidency is over, we don’t have good healthcare reform, if we don’t have Osama’s ashes in the toilets of that new building they’re making at Ground Zero, North Korea is still a nuclear threat, and we’re still in a Recession, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone starts a revolution.
Damn it, I hate politics. This is why I play video games!
Can you explain why?
Not that I’m Pro-9/11 Truth, at all, but the only way you’ll have a chance to shut them up is to present FACTS about how it’s both impossible and highly illogical for it to be a controlled demolition. Hell, right now I’M confused.
(I believe the following was posted by me earlier, but I won’t make you go and find it.)
Okay, here we go. This is mostly going on what I have seen on the discovery channel, but that reliable, right? Anyways, some 9/11 truthers claim that the fact that the towers fell straight down shows that it was controlled demolition and not a plane. My obvious reaction to that would be why make it a controlled demolition when you could cause collateral damage, but that is beside the point. In order to create a controlled demolition, it requires a ton of careful planning and even more careful placement of explosives. And if you do that, you can clearly tell it is controlled demolition by the masses of explosions. Even if they could place the explosives with no one noticing, all of their careful plans for how to demolish it effectively would be thrown out the window when a plane crashes into the building and messes up the structure, meaning an entirely new explosives format would be needed.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and about conservatives, don’t blame all the world problems on us. Yes, Bush overreacted to 9/11, but Afghanistan was justified and we get blamed for that, we get blamed for bills Democrats passed allowing people with no money to get mortgages on houses, we get blamed for a recession caused by above policies as well as stupid corporate choices (which are okay according to democrats as they are fully willing to just give them some of our money, instead of letting capitalism actually work, and yes, I know Bush did that, and it is still against conservative principles.) So yeah, I am tired of getting blamed for thing the Democrats started.
EDIT 2: And just for the lulz, here is what happens when a demolition is poorly planned:

You forgot the needless invasion of Iraq with shotty WMD evidence to back it up.
But he is right. He is not disrespecting the victims. In fact, by insisting to investigate the truth behind their deaths, he honors their sacrifice much more than others who just bought the official story without ever spending a moment of doubt, regardless of how many people obviously profited from the event as if they had seen it coming.
I am not accusing you, however, of disrespect. You have your way of remembering them, he has his own way. None of both ways has anything to do with disrespect. Those were people like you and me dying that day, and for all I know, it could have been us in their place. I also have no disrespect for American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. They are just doing their job there. They are trained to obey orders and carry out missions, regardless of politics or reasoning. And it’s good that they are, because otherwise their death toll would be far greater than it already is. Just imagine a soldier in the middle of a firefight arguing with his seargant about whether to fight back or not. Most of the time they are just trying to keep each other alive out there. My cousin was sent to Kosovo, and he has never returned. Oh, he is alive and home again now, he just… has never returned. He will always stay there. You can see it in his eyes, hear it in his voice, watch it on his face whenever he thinks noone is looking. And he wasn’t even in Afghanistan - his sister’s husband is going there right now. And I am sure he will also never return.
And if I think about that maybe all this suffering and all this death was caused by some creepy white business cocksuckers who wanted to gain more power in the world because they already have more money than they could ever spend in their life, I grow fucking angry.
I can’t stand watching the news anymore, because everytime someone refers to 9/11 he calls it “terrorist attacks” and I feel like screaming “BULLSHIT!” so loud that my neighbors would likely call the police.
You might call the Truth movement conspiracy theorists, retards, shitheads and all the insults you have in your verbal arsenal. But these guys are fucking serious about what they do, not because they believe in bullshit stories, but because they seriously doubt the official story and have yet to be proven wrong about that. There are some seriously fucked up people among them, I will admit. But it is not their theories that have convinced me. It is the questions that they asked, and that were never, ever seriously and in an earnest manner answered upon by government officials. Which bothers me alot, because it is a very serious matter they want to discuss, and instead of being answered (which could easily be done if the official version were true and could be supported with some hard evidence) they are mocked, shunned, or even taken care of by security forces instead.
Doesn’t sound very democratic to me. Sounds like something that Nazis would have done. That’s why I am suspicious. I mean you no disrespect at all. That would mean I’d have to disrespect my grandparents as well - cause at the time of the 1940’s, they all bought the bullshit Nazi propaganda was telling them. No matter how many “conspiracy theorists” were whispering (actual talking was too dangerous) about concentration camps, giant crematories raining ashes on German villages and about soldiers coming home from the fronts, all talking about losing the war, talking about Hitler going insane and their superiors giving out completely wrong orders. Atrocious orders.
It was so much more comfortable to just listen to the radio and believe the patriotic stories the officials told them - surely they wouldn’t lie to their own population? Surely all those conspiracy theorists were just people getting the wrong ideas? Maybe they sympathized with Jews? Maybe one should report them? They could prove dangerous somehow, couldn’t they?
And it was no good having young students running around and criticizing the Fuehrer, was it?
I know that my grandparents could very likely have thought this way at that time. But I will not blame them. They were made to think so by others. And if they really have ever denounced somebody they thought was talking too much unpatriotic nonsense, they are surely carrying the burden of that shame with them every day. Cause I know my grandparents to be very self conscious and compassionate people.
I won’t call you retarded or dumb or whatever insulting adjectives have been thrown against the Truth movement since its very beginning, just because you believe the lies that your government told you. It’s not dumb to do so. It’s actually pretty smart, in an odd way. It makes life a lot easier. And much more comfortable. I wish I had this option. I would feel a lot better, I am sure.
Too many things went wrong on September 11, 2001. Too many to be a mere coincidence. Too many people were involved who acted highly suspicious under the given circumstances - and even more so afterwards. Too many weird things have happened that day. Something is really fucked up in America - and I wouldn’t trust Barack Obama to fix it. Cause he might just be part of it as well. All my life I was a believer. I believed everything others would tell me - even downright lies. I always thought that nobody would intentionally lie to me. Why should they? I had never done anybody any wrong - so I thought nobody would do me any. Wasn’t that how it’s supposed to be? September 11 changed me completely. Now I prefer doubt over belief. Doubt at least keeps you alert. Makes you think about things. Makes you ask serious questions. Maybe I am wrong about September 11 - I seriously hope so. But I also seriously doubt the official story about it. And that this story has been used to justify many atrocious actions both in America and the Middle East does not at all help.
fail post is fail
(at me.)
DANSON IS CREDIT TO TEAM
If I died in a massive explosion caused by a hijacked airliner, I wouldn’t want some paranoid teenager convincing people that the whole thing was a hoax. I would want action taken against whoever organized the whole thing.
Exactly my point.
That was the “overreacted”. I have a habit of extreme understatement, so to clarify, yeah, that was a stupid thing to do, but only in semi-hindsight. There was enough evidence to justify going to war, although said evidence was later shown to be wrong. Nevertheless, yes, going into Iraq was not well thought out.
For fuck’s sake, he’s been in office for less than a year, what do you expect him to do, just magically turn our country around at the drop of a hat? It’s going to take a lot of time for him to fix the mess that Bush got us into, and it’s not as if McCain or anyone else would have been able to somehow do it any faster.
Danson, seriously, if you draw another freakin’ parallel between anything and the Nazis, I will do something violent. Our country is a functional democracy in which one party does not control the country. Within eight years of the Reichstag, Hitler was already at war with all of Europe. I recognize that memories of Hitler in your country may cause you to be more cautious, but quit applying clearly untrue comparisons to my country. Conspiracy theorists are ignored by the public, not abused by the government.
Hell, we’d still be fighting the good fight with McCain.
Hurr hurr hurr, I was a POW so obviously I can lead a country
fgt
If it was a conspiracy, they would set it up so that it would appear to have been caused by (Insert Foreign Country Name Here) agents, which would give greater justification for invading said country.
ITT: Walls-o-text.
I agree with this wholeheartedly…the whole idea of the American system of government is to question it, not blindly agree with it, which is what is happening more and more each day…disagreeing with the government doesn’t make you a terrorist, it makes you a true American and patriot.
Why does it have to be a specific country and their agents? Bin Laden was a good enough scapegoat. False Flag operations are not beyond the scope of the US government, and have been used in the past.
Sorry. I don’t have all my political facts straight. Like I said, this is why I play video games.
Anyway, I agree, the Democrats need to stop giving people money for doing nothing. It may not be nice to those that lost their jobs, but it’s a tough world.
Need more convincing liberals? Okay:
Remember that retard that I occasionally bring up? Chris-Chan? Well, he get’s $750 of real taxpayer money from the government.
Why?: Because he’s a fat unemployed loser.
What does he spend it on?: Dildos and video games.

You’re tax dollars at work.
So yeah, I’m not a complete Liberal, thank FSM.
I know. I’m just saying this is my current feelings. I have “hope”, but as of now, it’s all “wait and see.”
I think that’s what everybody’s doing right now though, I mean there are the rabid fans who will support him no matter what he does, but it’s going to be wait-and-see for a couple of years. If he doesn’t get us in any deeper than we are then he’s doing his job right.
That’s exactly what the Truth movement wants. Only they would prefer the action to be taken against the TRUE organizers of the whole catastrophe. Because they seriously doubt that this is the case as of now. And they have good reasons to do so.
Tell me about it. Some people in my family and others that I know well are in the military. One day we were invited to dinner at an Oberst’s (Colonel’s) place. Later that evening they started talking soldier stories. I was always attracted to that, so I listened closely. On that evening I learned about what a false flag operation is - and how it can be carried out. It gave me the creeps.
